lmao, the Dutch a few days away from taking Dover. Sealion is an easy operation it seems.

We don't know how many troops the British have on the home isles, but I don't think they'll be able to repel the marine landings. And once the beachhead is established, and the tanks follow, we'll fight our way through to London.

@StoriesandStrategieswithTerry Yeah there are so many things going on if you're playing Germany in KR, it's worse than Britain in vanilla.
@StoriesandStrategieswithTerry18 сағат бұрын
It's actually a general thing when you're recording, since you have to think and narrate the storyline as well as actually play sensibly. But yeah, Germany is actually very similar to original timeline Britain from a starting situation, worldwide empire etc. At least it gives me a good reason to go naval 😁

Mr Terry, given that the Dutch already landed in the British soil, we might have to send our troops to reinforce them after they successfully capture the Dover port.

In Russia, the designers of equipment and equipment were seriously redesigned in the Kaiserreich, various models of aviation and equipment were added, as well as focuses dedicated to this. This strongly matches your gameplay style, I hope you decide to play for Russia in this mod after completing your campaign for Kaiser. And I hope you will restore the Russian monarchy!

Yes, that's what it looks like. I've started planning already, but may have to do a test round, since I'm following a particular path this time, so I need to sketch out at least the first couple of months on how to go about undoing all the revolutions.

I've had a look, but the path guide in the wiki seems outdated. I don't want to plan everything out in detail, though, but I think I've got the monarchist path basics - increase civil unhappiness, ditch Savinkov, follow the monarchist-leaning general.

You might want to send 1 or 2 divisions to defend Hawaii from the inevitable US invasion. Maybe built up 1 or 2 levels of coastal forts there
@StoriesandStrategieswithTerry20 сағат бұрын
I think Hawaii is actually fortified, but yes, I'll divert some of Paulus' troops there. The bigger issue is going to be naval control, right now, the USAS Navy seems to be concentrated in the Caribbean

The second reason I want to see you play for Russia is your way of calling battle groups by local names instead of using English. I'm not ironically eager to hear Terry speak Russian with German accent, pronouncing the names of various things, it will definitely be funny)))

Do you have MPs added to your garrison divisions? Will the naval invasion launch into the tile that the dutch captured in the UK? Excited for the UK to be capped.
@StoriesandStrategieswithTerry2 күн бұрын
I don't have MPs researched, so the garrison divs are a little less efficient than they could be. We do have the manpower and the materiel, and, most importantly, the large number of operatives to hunt down rebel leaders.

I have a question. Is it possible to make other Fronts in Iran and Finland to possibly spread the Russian Army thin? Or will that do the same to you in turn putting reserves that could be better used elsewhere.
@StoriesandStrategieswithTerry4 күн бұрын
Fair question. The reason I'm not currently reinforcing the Finnish or Iranian front is supply lines. Our more powerful units, like the assault infantry divisions, require a fair amount of ammo, food and fuel to be delivered, and would just be running on fumes in those remote areas, not adding any additional combat capability. Instead, I'm keeping the majority of the infantry on the Eastern Front, where offensive operations can begin likely once the invasion of Britain is complete. The tanks will lead the charge, and the infantry will follow. Secondary theatres, like Azerbaijan, allow spec ops troops to wreak some havoc, but marines, who are needed to cross major river lines, and maybe run a naval invasion of Crimea, are still tied up in Britain.
@owenhammond18804 күн бұрын
@StoriesandStrategieswithTerry Is it possible to build up the infrastructure in these areas while you wait for the invasion of Britain to be properly completed? Or is your main axis of advance when it comes to the Eastern Front going for Eastern Ukraine? I know this is unrelated but I also like your little stories at the start of the videos. It brings character into this strategy game.
@defalt756614 сағат бұрын
So, Terry. I decided to put this information in a separate comment so that you can definitely notice and read it, it concerns the future game for Russia. The restoration of the monarchy won the vote, right? But it is important to understand what political paths Russia has. At the beginning of the game, Russia is a republic in agony, with very strong references to the Weimar Republic. President Boris Savinkov is a local mustachioed artist trying to centralize the state, ban other parties and turn Russia into his dictatorship. But his regime is under threat because it is threatened by "military anger" and "popular anger," anger indicators can be seen in the decisions tab. You need to overthrow Savinkov. There are three ways to do this.: 1. The Socialist Revolution. You don't need this, but I'll just mention that if both the people and the army are pushed to the limit (the anger of the people is more than 8, the anger of the army is more than 5), then a socialist revolution will occur and the country can be turned onto the path of syndicalism/Bolshevism and other "isms" 2 and 3 ways are what you need, choose which one you want more. 2. The second way is a popular revolution with the intervention of the army. If the anger of the people is 8 or higher, but the anger of the army is LESS THAN 5, then a revolution will also happen in the country and the socialists will take power for a few days, but they will soon be overthrown by a military counter-coup that will restore Russian bourgeois democracy. 3. The third option will take longer, which is bad, and I don't like it from the point of view of lore: bring the anger of the military to 8 and above and they will simply overthrow Savinkov, democracy will also be restored, but still I don't like this way. I advise you to follow the second path, which allows you to overthrow Savinkov as early as May 36, whereas the third path, in my experience, is not earlier than July-August. In order for the restored democracy to become a monarchy, not a republic, you need to choose Wrangel as a replacement for Kornilov, then he will demand the restoration of the monarchy from the Duma. Denikin, on the other hand, will follow the republic. It is important to understand that by overthrowing Savinkov, you will restore Democracy in any case. It doesn't matter if it's a republic or a monarchy, if it's a republic it's a democratic republic, if it's a monarchy it's a democratic constitutional monarchy. There is no path to absolute monarchy. In response to this message, I will continue the guide, read it!

@StoriesandStrategieswithTerry4 күн бұрын
Yes, they have begun naval power projection into the Caribbean Sea and the western Atlantic, and right now, we're not in a position to challenge them there, since we also may have to deal with the IJN in the Pacific, and Australia keeps causing trouble, potentially the Entente as well. You see why I've invested so heavily in the navy early on, running a worldwide Empire requires a strong fleet to enable movement of goods and troops, and to hinder the same on the enemy side.

have you thought about building some state-based AA in Ukraine to help with the air defense? The Russian destroyers sailing into the coastal waters off Denmark was a major mistake on their part.
@StoriesandStrategieswithTerry20 сағат бұрын
No need, really. The supply lines are largely intact, and von Richthofen's pilots will take on the Russian menace in the skies.
