Here’s there main issue: Kaitlin wants to feel loved by Jason in a warm, verbally reassuring way. He isn’t giving her that. Jason wants to feel like she puts him first, respects his time and opinions, and loops him into her daily decisions (especially Re schedule). And he wants her to tell him HE IS ENOUGH as he is… he’s so anxious trying to prove to himself that he’s enough, that he does enough. She needs to help him realize how great he is now and even when he fails. She puts herself first.

And now that they are not together I just watched this episode for the first time and its like so obvious they were not 100% in it.

I really appreciate the vulnerability it takes to talk about some of these things... especially the topics of merging 2 individuals' lives and your deepest relationship fears. Most people don't acknowledge those things within themselves so seeing other people name them directly can be really uncomfortable. Respect to Kaitlin and Jason for their vulnerability, and mirroring what it looks like to hold one another's vulnerability without judgement.

Body language doesn't lie. A lot of tension & you can tell Kaitlyn & Jason are going through it right now. I think they are out of the honeymoon phase and are seeing things for what they are (as most couples do after the 2-3 year mark).

These couple podcasts really highlight couples that aren’t in sync. Shawn and Andrew really get one another they are a unit. Jason and Kaitlyn feel really off here. I don’t know if they’re having a weird day or what but they just don’t feel connected. Sad too because Jason seems so emotionally in tune for a guy. Kaitlyn says she’s emotional but she wasn’t always responding that way. She seemed a bit guarded. I love when Shawn points out that her worst fear and deepest admiration contradict one another. I’m rooting for them to get their footing back. Someone’s gunna have to sacrifice and I feel like ambition and careers always seem to be the bach couples downfall.

Kaitlyn and Jason both seem very self-aware and understand what they need to do to fix the relationship, yet it doesn’t seem like either actually wants to put in the work required. It’s this hard and they’re not even married yet or have kids - it only gets harder!

It takes time- life is hard- financial is hard - but they will grow back to eachother......Like Michelle & Back Obama. Couples growing - growing together & their purse,you know 💰💸 pocket and their strength together grow too. Jason is quite young. Bristowe is the best woman for him . In love, real love - that is her job and to earn money,you need to travel and to work in the show-business or any business, you always get pushed to become a bigger man in strength and in personality - otherwise later on you can not become a good father.

My heart hurts for Kaitlyn and Jason- Kaitlyn pushes people away when she gets into a "routine", starts to feel secure and believes that's "boring" or "something's missing". Jason feels safe in routine and clear lines - so the more secure HE became, the less secure SHE became. It's so wild how easy it is to see when it's someone else- that's why we need honest friends, and grace- sooooo much GRACE!

Geez, Kaitlyn needs to get her priorities straight. Poor Jason. I feel like he’s starting to feel how Shawn felt. I’m sure he gets it now. She always passed it off as jealousy on Shawn’s end and I’m sure maybe there was some of that but she literally puts her relationships on the back burner and then wonders why they aren’t thriving. 😬

That is not a fair assessment. There's nothing wrong with wanting to strike while the iron is hot and capitalise on life changing career opportunities. She conceded where she fell short and seems to be self aware enough to know her shortcomings and where she needs work. Neither of them is perfect (eg it was a bit sad when she admitted that she needed the reassurance that he wanted to marry her more than anything rather than be do overly focused on the budget etc ) so, cut her some slack and don't bring up a failed relationship with what seems like an insecure guy.

Beautiful convo between four great individuals. I would encourage, after 49 years of a really wonderful marriage, to make sure you have God the Father as the centerpiece/anchor of your relationship. Believe me, our love & marriage evolved over time. We weren’t perfect in the beginning and still are not. Marriage is 98% GIVE on both your parts. Don’t overthink this…put God first and all other things will fall into place. It’s not easy but it is simple! “Things are not important” and you cannot take any of them to Heaven with you! I've always been a KB fan and a huge cheerleader for Kaitlyn and Jason. Clearly they are in a rough spot and I hope they can find their way back to each other. Seems KB is not willing to slow down anything in order to get married and start a family, even though she has been vocal about wanting those things badly. I understand to a point of following your dreams, but could end up being lonely if she only focuses on her career. She is coming off a little selfish
