Shinichi is sweet, it's just he shows it differently compared to Kaito, they're both very romantic in their own ways :) Also I'm pretty sure Kaito would be open to confessing to Aoko (I mean he had no problem in planning to kiss her at the Touto Tower but held it off because it was "his fault") but I'm think he's held back by the fact that he's still functioning in his Kid life though he might still do it (like with Shinichi)
