I’ve had to move and although I got rid of stuff, it was less of the “keep the stuff I love” and more of a “sell the stuff I don’t like at all” the mistakes gotta go. Everything else comes with me

insulate your garage door with Reflective Roll Insulation and HVAC tape. This will keep your garage exponentially warmer than a plain garage door

Bro, the editing on this video is absolutely top notch! And the audio quality is great for as many different settings/locations as you had. Seriously great work! Great concept for a video too. 👏🏼👌🏼

Thanks Rory! Using a handheld mic helps to get consistent audio quality in the various locations. It’s something I’ve seen other KZbinr doing so I decided to give it a try. The editing was done by an awesome guy I found on Fiverr. His editing is perfect for my style.

I also love the look of the megalith handles up on the wall! You’ll have to share that storage solution 👌🏼

The Megalith handles are just on my Wall Control panel. I’ll go into more detail on the next gym tour!

Felt like this was the best place to ask this because of your innovation/willingness to respond to comments: Is there a way to stop a bench from moving backwards on a heavy press for an integrated functional trainer on a squat rack? Something like a bar with 1" holes on both sides to stop a bench from moving backwards..could have an adjustable plate like the ares 2.0 to increase how far out the bench is supported away from the rack for that deep press?
@KaizenDIYGym7 күн бұрын
I don’t know of anything like that but it could be a fun DIY if you have the tools

I moved my gym twice already... literally accepted my fate and now my 3rd gym iteration is bigger than the first two combined. Might just have to expand my house and not move lol

I feel your pain brother. I’ll definitely be expanding before I consider moving again.

Kyle - on the FS lever arm belt squat, will I need any washers or spacers to secure the fit with on a 2.3x2.3 BOS all in one rack? Thanks man!
@KaizenDIYGym6 күн бұрын
You can use the spacers but I don’t think you necessarily need the spacers.

I moved my Gym 5 times and it became bigger every time. The house I bought and live in now is my end level, I will not move for the next 30 years.

What do you think about the fringe sport osprey rack? Can’t find any reviews online about it
@KaizenDIYGym2 күн бұрын
It’s 3x3 11 gauge steel. Very solid. Fits 3x3 attachments from other companies. Basically everything you’d want from a 3x3. Lots of deals for Black Friday: www.fringesport.com/#3114099

I’m likely doing a cross country move next year, so I better get selling some things soon!
@KaizenDIYGym7 күн бұрын
Whew! You might want to just sell everything and start fresh. That’s a huge endeavor!
@fwiffo427 күн бұрын
@ I’m considering it! It’s just tough knowing how much I’ll have to spend on the replacement gear versus what I can sell for. But maybe that loss is less than the packing and shipping.

I see that you restore many things and also make DIY equipment and do a good job. But I don't want to be mean or derogatory, but do you also use the gym yourself? Do you have a training schedule? If so, what exactly do you do? Just stay healthy, or do you try strength training or just weight control or what? I'm curious. And why do you move so much? Are you wanted?😅
@KaizenDIYGym8 күн бұрын
Yes, I use the gym. Right now I am just getting back into it after taking a couple months off due to the move. I typically do 45 - 60 minutes, 3-4 days a week. Sometimes I follow a program, sometimes I don't. My goal is to stay active, and to be healthy and happy. I am too old to chase big numbers and I am not interested in becoming huge. I moved a bunch over the last year and a half because I went through a divorce and with that came a lot of life changes. I moved out of a home I owned and into a rental, lived in that rental for a year, and then bought a new home.
@Denbeeer7 күн бұрын
@@KaizenDIYGym Sorry about your divorce. And also glad that you are not wanted 😉. And a good workout plan. Stay healthy and enjoy your home gym. Are you also going to make videos of possible workouts, for example? Thank you for your response.
