Malar Madam, your grammar class is excellent. If you taken these kind of class to Govt School teachers/ Matric school teachers it will be more useful for delivering the grammar subjects to students. Most of the these kind of subjects were essential for teachers. If they know very familiar it will useful to teach to students. This is my observations only. In first sentence, as per grammar, we can as well say, the first past action should be in past perfect tense(v3) n the second action (resultant action) is to be written in simple past tense (v2). Ex: Had I reached Madras Central station in time, I could have met my friend(here the sentence need not be started with “if” since it is implied). Sorry, if I am wrong. However, please clarify.
