So crazy to me how all you bots are in the comments saying Lars is trash but would get bodied by Kaizoku, Mob, L-Train, and other Lars players. Smh.

@@misevibre comments like this are silly on many levels... I just got top 8 with Lars in my local tournament that had 62 players in it... Offline is more about the player than the character. If you get nervous in front of competition then that has nothing to do with the character, you lost because you were nervous and lack experience. Online or offline, the character is the same, the frame data is the same, the matchups are the same. You most likely are nervous and need more experience.

@@RunningWild. I am talking about real tournaments with real top level players. Lars has seeable launch punishable lows(for the most part). Dynamic and silent entry can be reacted to and neutralized (won't happen every time, but it will happen often enough). Input delay and lag is a thing.

@@misevibre input lag affects both players no matter the character... Online can't manufacture skill. Dynamic can be reacted to? Sounds like a scrub Lars player who would just throw out a dynamic entry. No top level Lars would ever do that. You obviously have to set up his stances. Lmg MOB won evo online with Lars and here Kaizoku is here in grand finals and I guarantee that he bodies you on or offline. If you're telling me online can just manufacture skills of that caliber and those players aren't top notch, then you're seriously delusional. Lastly, Lars has one seeable low. His hell sweep, and he has a great mixup off of that that will launch you, so good luck reacting. DB4 is not used like most traditional lows(I won't explain why. Lars players know) and is a very good low.

It wasnt actually against lars, it was against something that they couldnt say about that player who happened to play lars. Kwiss and anakin know better than to make accusations with proof, but there was certainly something going on.

lars is fine now. he's at best high B tier but still lacks the same fundamental CH moves and lack of plus frames to get him in to A or S tier. His crazy wall carry/combo damage means two launches is guaranteed death but the tricky part is nailing those launches without the use of strong plus frames or counterhit launches.
