This song is about my cousin, he and brandon attended Juab HIgh in Nephi, Utah. Andy's dad is the head football coach. Andy wrestled and played football and now coaches in the same area. Brandon dated andy's wife when they were in school. Brandon and Andy were friends and played golf together. Andy constantly uses the phrase "hey shut up".....pretty funny song actually....

The actual meaning of this song is sarcastic. The singer (Brandon Flowers) was bullied by a guy named Andy Messersmith in High School. (Not the baseball player.) Well now Andy is a gym teacher at the same school while Brandon Flowers is the successful man he is today. So the meaning is sarcastic, and he's insulting Andy. One of Andy's students knew the meaning, went up to him and said; "Andy, you realy are a star." So Andy put him into a headlock.
