Fun facts, Baba Ajit Singh ji fought for about 8 hours continuously and Baba jujhar Singh ji fought for about 7 hours, the chotte sahibzade were first tortured to the point where Baba fateh Singh ji's eye popped out, their kneecaps were broken and then bricked alive yet they survived through all of that so they cut their necks in a halal way

The battle of chamkaur in reality happened in much intensity unlike shown in the movie. Sikhs old historical scriptures like suraj prakash granth, shaheed bilas say that each singh and two sons of guru killed not just handful but lakhs of mughals in the battlefilled. The battle lasted long. The chaos was such great among the mughals. And on martyrdom, the bodies of saahibzaade were not even found by the mughals . They appear disappeared to them. The bodies were only visible to sikhs. The sons of gurus and their sikhs were not ordinary beings. They all were highly spiritual and possess powers but they loved to live in almighty's will / order , were satisfied in it. They accepted martyrdom in God's will/ order to teach us sikhs the greatness of the tradition of martyrdom and inspire us to accept martyrdom in the battlefield for the good cause / benefit of the panth. Before leaving the fort, the guru ordered sikhs to beat nagaras ( resembling very large drums) , slogans were cried out loudly by the sikhs and the guru made three claps and said loudly, " The peer ( saint) of hind is leaving, if anybody has the courage to stop him, he can stop now. The mughals after listening, started approaching the guru to kill him. Guru sahib on the verge of leaving the fort said to his singhs ' ' let me just strike one arrow to show the mughals who guru gobind singh is . " Guru sahib' s bow stretch was large enough and so great that an arrow could travel miles away and his one arrow could swallow alone 10 thousands. Kale khan eye witness wrote in his book. Guru sahib struck an arrow and it killed thousands on the spot. The mughals were in such chaos that mughals didn't understand what was happening and they started killing each other in the dense storm . By this way guru sahib left fort.
