I’m very pleased with mine, thanks Matt, and the Worth strings are lovely now they’ve stopped stretching and stay in tune.

Matt, I was just listening to you while faffing about, so not paying a great deal of attention. But, when you switched to the Worth browns, it jumped out of the laptop! Sometimes strings really do make a big difference.

Worth brown sound beautiful

I like the sound of both the Worth and the Aquila. In my opinion, when strummed, the Worth strings sounded brighter and projected a bit more than the Aquila's. On the other hand, when fingerpicked the Aquila's sounded brighter and projected a bit more. I am primarily a fingerpicker on the Uke so I stick with my Aquila's. I also dislike the dark color of the Worth browns as I have difficulty seeing the strings. I am also primarily a Baritone uke player. When I do play my Tenor ukes I always play low G as I much prefer linear tuning as opposed to reentrant tuning. BTW your playing is absolutely wonderful and I enjoyed it immensely. I will be picking up the Acacia version as soon as it is available to me in the states.

Acacia look really nice. I will order as well just from shop in Southampton as it is local to me.

It sounds quite good and more affordable...

I like the string change with the High G as well. It fits the ukulele. Thank you for the introduction and sound samples. Always appreciated.

Interesting - there was nothing that made the ukulele stand out with Aquilas, but with Worth Browns it really chimed. What a difference a string change can make to me! I also preferred the high G, but I was biased going in as I’ve found I don’t personally like the feel of the Worth Brown low G.

I agree with you with this uke - and subsequently tried it with a Fremont low G. Still high G for me though I think!

Looks beautiful 🤩 .. I do like the worth strings in High G they make it sing so nicely even though I’m a Low G freak 😂🤣… looking forward to the demo for the passive pickup .. 😁😜🤩🦋

I have plans for that and a fremont low G - if I can hang onto them long enough!

Hope you do as looking forward to seeing this 😁🦋

It looks really nice…& like another commenter, I prefer the Worth High G which is unusual as I love a Low G! It seems to ring out beautifully but I don’t suppose I’d really mind which set of Worth Browns were on one if I was buying! Big No-No to Aquila I’m afraid! Good demo Matt..thanks! 👍🏻😁

I thought it would be made for low G but I really liked the high G to be honest. I do normally but thought this might lend itself to low G but I love the high G clarity.

Hello Matt, Do you think they’re going to do a Baritone version? Cheers, Fabio

I am sure they will

Yes, I agree… Aquilas are not what fits these ukuleles best but I must say, that on the second melody you played, sounded a bit 20th to me, I really liked the muffled sound of the Aquilas better.
