This video is about three iconic Chop Cutlet places of North Kolkata. I visited Niranjan Agar, Lakshmi Narayan Shaw and Sons and Malancha Kormibrinda Restaurant and tasted their Chops, Cutlets, Fish Fries and Fish Kabirajis. Believe me the taste of the food and vibe of those places are amazing.
Niranjan Agar: Established in the year of 1922, this place has a history of 98 years. They are mostly known for their Egg Devil and Mutton Braised Cutlet. I tasted both and the taste was amazing. The place still holds the old world charm of Kolkata.

Lakshmi Narayan Shaw and Sons: This place is popularly known as "Netajir Choper Dokan". They have started in 1918 and very famous in Hatibagan area. Their owner told me that famous leader and freedom fighter Sri Subhash Chandra Bose, Netaji was very fond of their Chops, Begunis and Fuluris. Mr. Kesto Gupta, who owns the shop now, told me the folklore about the place and Netaji. And the taste of the Chops are amazing.

Malancha Kormibrinda Restaurant: This place is a roadside food stall and located near Hatibaan area. They sell amazingly good fry items like Fish Fries, Fish Kabirajis, Mutton Cutlets, Egg Devils and Moglai Parathas. They also have the history of more than 40 yeas. I tasted the Fish Fry and Fish Kobiraji and they were good in taste.
