NJP TO MANEBHANJAN CAR-9832698060(BIPUL DA)
In this episode i will share with you the journey from Kolkata to Sandakphu.
In this episode i will tell you all the information about Sandakphu tour. I will tell you which train we took to NJP from Sealdah, where we stayed.
We started our journey with 13141 Teesta torsa express. The 13141/13142 Teesta torsa express is a daily non-superfast train of Indian railways in west bengal which runs between Sealdah and New alipurduar. Sealdah to NJP are approx 570 kms apart from one another.
According to Indian railways time, this express starts its journey from Sealdah at 3:00p.m and reached NJP at 2:10a.m midnight the next day.
As the train arrives late,it reaches NJP at 3:10a.m.
Our car was booked from NJP. From NJP we directly reached Manebhanjan by car. From Manebhanjan you will get two types of cars, land rover and bollero. If you are planning a north Bengal trip then you must visit Sandakphu. From there the kanchanjungha view is amazing. From NJP to Manebhanjan the car fare was 3500/-. And Manebhanjan to Sandakphu car fare was 7000/-. In Sandakphu we stayed at Namo Buddha homestay. You can also do Sandakphu trek.
Sandakphu is one of the most beautiful tourist destination in North Bengal.
Sandakphu is a mountain peak in the Singalila Ridge on the border between India and Nepal. It is the highest point of the ridge and of the state of West Bengal, India.
The best time to visit Sandakphu is spring and autumn. If you are planning to visit Sandakphu in January, you can go but in that time the weather of Sandakphu is very cold. After a night at Sandakphu the next day we left for darjeeling.
