Indeed.. 🫶.. Have listened to better rendition by Unnikrishna Kurup and Palanad Diwakaran at various venues in the early to mid 80's.. The raaga vistaaram used to be heavenly. As to Haridas and Embranthiri; they excelled in paatu kacheri and esp Puthana moksham, Usha Chitralekha, Kacha Devyani and needless to say Nala Charitham etc.. For me Kurup aashan is and will always remain the best.. Such a gifted singer; sad he went away too soon.. I was blessed to watch the halcyon days of Kathakali during the 80's when the best talent adorned the stage.. Thanks for this video and rekindling old memories
