This is so helpful! I bought one of these plants last summer and I have yet to be able to properly plant it somewhere and now it really needs work, so I needed advice and this was perfect!

Helpful video! I seem to be unlucky with my kalanchoes catching frost and then rotting. Either the stress of shipping from a temperate climate to my cold climate is too much even with a heat pack, or my care strategy that works well for echeverias is off in some way for kalanchoes!

Mine has brown twigs with pink tips. I’m in USA zone 7, it’s fall here and just brought my pot indoors to keep from cold temperatures. Can I clip off brown twigs or leave them?

If the brown twigs are growing straight up, they are spent flower stalks- you can definitely cut them off if they are completely dead🙂
