Tui Atua, Tui Aana are 2 of Samoa’s (not including the Manu’a Islands, as they were ruled over by the Tui Manua) highest titles which along with the Vaetamasoalii and Gatoaitelē titles make up the tafaifa. The Kings of old Samoa traditionally held all 4 titles which is why they were referred to as the “Tafaifa”. The last Tafaifa was Malietoa Vainuupo. Tuamasaga is a district of Upolu. The Tui Atua title is currently held by Tui Atua Tupua Tamasese Efi, Samoa’s former PM and Head of State. The Tui Aana title has been traditionally held by the holder of the Tuimalealiifano title. The Tuimalealiifano title is currently held by Samoa’s current Head of State Tuimalealiifano Sualauvi II.

@@fasiapulekaufusi6632 I know very late post.. but at 1:20 I distinctively heard them say "TuiAtua TuiA'ana".. Then followed by the word Tuamasanga. Tuiatua and Tuiaana are 2 of Samoas oldest Paramount titles. WAYYY older then Malietoa. TuiAtua was the king of Atua district (east Upolu island) Whilst TuiAana was king of A'ana district (western upolu). Tuamasanga was the middle upolu district.. which never had a Tui title.. and is said to be the place where Tuitonga had the most sway.. Tuamasanga is where the malietoa title arose from after they drove out Tuitonga Talafeii. Interesting. Wish I knew what this song is about.
