January 1992, I walked over 20 km with locals to get to this valley. I was the only tourist there, the snow was 2m high. My eyes hurt so much from the smoke in the kitchen. Greeting from Australia.

i really appreciate your travel all the way from England to this remote beautiful Kailash valley in Northern Pakistan. The government of KPK need to do a lot of infrastructure development i.e improving roads and bridges and make access easier and safe for travellers. Even the Pakistanis go there very rarely I believe because of poor road conditions. But hats off to all foreign tourists who take all the risks and make it there. Thank you for your wonderful vlogs. Keep up the good work !

This culture will vanish in 50 to 100 years. I paid a visit 35 years ago, there was neither any school nor any other civil amenity. The modern education system will change their outlook. gradually, they will left the traditional life style & will opt the modern one. There is abject poverty. Malnutrition is also visible.

These are the Dardas an ancient tribe from Kashmir as mentioned in the Rig Veda. These people have a unique culture and way of life which resembles the hunza people to some extent. More than 5000+ years of continuing culture. Very good to see them. If POK didn't existed they would have been part of India but anyways i pray that their unique culture continue forever.
