Kalavantin has always fascinated me, again with your video, so I went upstairs with my friends the last day on Maharastra. Unfortunately for us Central Europeans was very hot, so the road to the mountain was very difficult. The actual ascent to Kalavantin was easy, I have no dizziness, on the contrary I enjoyed the beautiful views. Along the way we were accompanied by 2 dogs, they were wiggling a little under our feet on the stairs, but fortunately they did not drop us down. Only our younger colleague climbed to the top, we older were content with the platform below the top ... we were very tired of climbing and we did not want to risk. Thank you very much for the inspiration, it is a pity that it is so hot in India :-))) I would go again. But I think I made some records during the climb - I was the first Czech girl on Kalavantina, the heaviest woman, the oldest (63) woman :-)))))

oh thats great to hear. The top part is a bit treacherous for non trekkers but manageable. I suggest you come here around post monsoon period which is september and october when the weather is pleasant. The tropical heat here is very harsh for people coming from temperate zones. It litterally burns the skin down. But you achieved it and thats great to hear. You are always welcomed to India. :)

Too Good.....fantastic camera work with every angle. specially, when camera moves on water surface in water cistern. I done treks of Sinhagad , Rajgad, Raigad, Pratapgad, Rajmachi, Lohagad, Visapur, Purandar, Shivneri, Janjira... and recently Chapora fort (Goa )& Golkonda fort (Hyderabad). Caves like Karla, Bhaje , Bedse (Kamshet).. but except KALAVANTIN...! coz nobody wants to join me that time. but after watching this, I'll definitely complete this trek . Thanks..your video inspired me....
