Jesus Christ....the nostalgia trip I just went on.... Growing up in the 90's was tough....good times, hard times, and everything in between, but my god what I wouldn't give for just one day, just one day to go bike riding with my older brothers again. To play Cops and Robbers and Cowboys and Indians again, to experience the magic of Christmas and watch movies and play the Original Nintendo and jump off the balcony onto the couch below and.... And so much other stuff. We've long since left home and been on our own, but what I wouldn't give for just one more day. Just one. Thanks Kalax for sharing this with us 90's kids.

There's an artform involved in piecing together the right imagery for the music. the music on its own is a nostalgic journey but when you add the right imagery to it you really drive it home. There were a few for me but for whatever reason, the timing of the Roseanne clip at the beginning got me.

We're lucky to be born in 1981. The 80s is great, classic nostalgic feel. But the 90s was the best, our teenage years revolved in the 90s, no decade could beat it. I feel a little pity for the gen z who haven't experienced the 90s (and the 80s). I wished time stood still just a little longer back then.

How can something make you feel happy and sad at the same time? I’m being reminded of all the great movies from the 90s, and how careless everything seemed back then. Growing up was years away. Knowing how little we had, I remember us all being much happier. Perhaps that’s just the rose tinted glasses of nostalgia. Somehow, I think the West peaked in the 90’s. What we believed was a world with endless horizons, now appears to be a room with the walls closing in.

Nostalgia is both pleasant and painfull at the same time. All the good things you miss makes you happy, but at the same time you know very well that the world has moved on and it will never come back. No matter how hard you try it will never really be the same. Was it really as good as we remember? Not always. There was problems like it has always been. And we did not really know what we actually had at the time. But now we can look back and remember the good memories. In 30 years people will probably think back on the 2020s and filter out all the nasty and unpleasant things that are happening now. The good old days are not just in the past. They are also right here right now.
