Kalbajar tunnel
A strategically important tunnel located on the Lacin-Kalbajar road, south of the Aghdara-Kalbajar road, in Kalbajar region. The tunnel was commissioned in 1960. It was built in front of the narrow canyon-like gorge of the Tutgun river, one of the tributaries of the Tartar river. The tunnel connects 35 villages of the district with the district center. It is the longest tunnel intended for automobile transport in Azerbaijan.
