You mentioned wanting to try archery. If you ever go to a ren fair, they'll often have some targets set up. You can pay a few bucks to fire a few arrows. It's fun. I'll usually hit the center circle of the target with my first three shots and then miss the center circle with all my remaining shots (but still hit the target, at least). I don't know why three seems to be my number... My schools did archery as one of the gym units in 3rd, 9th, 11th, & 12th grades. In 3rd it was shortened because the kid in the lane next to me went up to get his arrows early, while other kids were still firing. I immediately pointed mine straight at the ground when I saw that and he got yelled at.

Downside of ren fair, sometimes it's catered to young youth archery, so it's like a 5-10 lbs draw. I had to aim so high to get the arrows to hit, haha (and it was questionable if they'd stick considering how dull they were).

3:22 This is cool but I also hate this. I am mobility impaired and walking up the stairs is one thing that physically harms me. Making accommodations “flashy” makes them highly inconvenient. Setting up that lift took a lot of time which means everyone will stare at you. It unnecessarily draws attention to the disabled person, which is often the worst experience one could have. I don’t “look” disabled therefore a lot of people assume I’m able bodied and could walk up stairs normally. I would rather physically harm myself by walking the stairs than using a slow lift like that. Accessibility should be accessible. Also accessibility shouldn’t make the disabled person feel like they are a “burden”. That was definitely not accessible accessibility and I hate it. Just put a ramp there as well :)
@Solesteam2 жыл бұрын
Or... on a completely unnecessary over the top side note, they should just replace every staircase on earth with that thing, it's too cool to live in a world without it.

I was wondering what would happen if the lift malfunctioned and someone was trapped on it. As a former technician, I think it's a cool idea and I'm impressed with what must have gone into designing and building it. But also as a former technician, a lot of the worst (and most dangerous) designs I've had to deal with are the ones where the designers never once asked "what happens when it breaks?"
@emibaka3092 жыл бұрын
@@elizabethshaw7472 this is also a valid point to raise! I can’t imagine how terrible it would be to get stuck on the lift.... So instead of these weird contraptions.... just put a ramp on the building. It is not that hard and it will help a lot of disabled folk 😭

The guy working out is impressive. I will note: the bar isn't flexed at all and those are some very big plates. Which is probably the real reason he's not injured from doing that, because that would be very dangerous with real plates. It's more a show of core strength and balance than lifting ability, but the bigger plates are more dramatic. Very cool way to show off ability, and he's being smart about it. I do not recommend trying it with real plates though, or in a gym.

I don't think that woman made it in the basket. The nets on the hoops are there so you can clearly see, when lower than the hoop, which you usually are, if the ball went in or not. The removal of the hoop makes me believe that she did that so no one could notice that she missed. I also think that because the ball doesn't look like it bumped anything, it just fell down.

Levi might be one of the worst characters in aot imo, but that's so cool thar they can make any image. [Explanation for my opinion on levi; Everyone has a sad, horrific backstory in AOT. Levi is not special for that, and as such, his rudeness/bluntness to others, along with his immaturity[refer to his use of language of " shit" and "piss" every 5 words, especially in the manga] should not be excused while others call characters like Armin, who watched his friend die in front of him, like 2 inches from his face, a pussy. At least armin has the balls and maturity to still be kind even to his enemies. People only like Levi because he's a tsundere, and that's gross. The fact that people ship him, a 34-44ish year old man[depending on where in the manga it is] with a 15-19 year old boy is disgusting as well. Especially after all the times Levi has needlessly harmed Eren. ] tldr; tsunderes don't belong in aot. They are an unhealthy stereotype to idolize.

Tbf the shipping part doesn't make the character worse, it's like saying MHA is bad because of the shippers, is not the series thats bad but the fandom. I agree on everything else tbh

Levi’s rudeness is kind of what makes his character and it isn’t like he’s calling Armin a pussy because he actually believes that he’s saying that because he knows that there isn’t time to cry for 20 minutes when other peoples lives are on the line obviously he could’ve said it nicer but that isn’t in Levi’s character.
