Yo as a person who bought Ranar right out the gate with no idea what any decks play like because I’m new to the game. I fucking love him. He is everything I wanted in a commander and his deck/ mana colors are perfect fit for me. Watching this is an attempt to gain experience and knowledge for future games. I’ve made many upgrades from the base deck though. I have the Elf deck too. I really like the Kaldheim sets.

I love when you guys do commander battles, mostly because that’s the only format I play. Also, you guys should totally do another 2 headed giant sealed game against Josh and Jimmy again, when you can travel safely!

I’ve gotta Say great showcase! After playing my first commander night I’ve done extremely well with the Elven Empire against Two other Precons that were the pricier $40/$50 decks (Draconic Decent and Upgrades Unleashed) and also one buddy had the Phantom Premonition. I won 3 of the 4 games! That elf deck smacks out of box 😮

So fun! Multiplayer definitely makes Ranar more powerful and Lathril less oppressive feeling, for sure. (More people to help find answers/more people for Lathril to need to kill.)

What makes Raynar powerful is the fact the its one or more, so if you flicker 9 times, each separately then you get his trigger 9 times, he's quite fun as a flicker commander more than foretell as there arent a huge number of foretell out there yet

If you flicker your entire board with one spell it only counts as making one spirit. It says one or more so for you to make multiple spirits you'd have to use multiple different spells or creatures to flicker that many cards multiple times for the trigger
