so, we thought we'd bring back this video to celebrate 5 years since the Think EP release - it was never actually meant to be a music video but was a competition entry to play at SXSW festival. We didn't win!! Anyway, people have been asking us to put it back on KZbin for a long time so here it is.... maybe we'll re-release the vinyl in 2021 :)

It was something movies just don't do anymore: They found a contemporary, relatively unknown track that already existed and put it in a big movie. It wasn't written for the film, and it wasn't a 40 year old rock standard used as lazy shorthand for what the audience should be thinking and feeling about this situation. It makes the audience go "Holy shit what's that song during the bathhouse scene?"

For a lot of us who found all the wonderful music on this channel thanks to this song in John Wick, this is the OG Kaleida experience. For me, the nightclub scene in John Wick is the best scene of the movie, everything about its aesthetic design is awesome, and this song opening the scene was the perfect way to kickstart the atmosphere. Over here in the UK, the movie gets put on TV a lot, and whenever I stumble across it and the movie is close to the scene, I always stick around to watch it and listen to the song accompanying it. If it wasn't for this song, I would never have found what has now become one of my favourite music artists, I would never have found so many other songs that I listen to regularly (Ruby is a particular one I love), and I would never have been here when Odyssey dropped. So hooray for this song.

I am the same. Truly that scene works in so many ways. It builds up the tension and then the music hits. When John wick takes down the guy and the song rings "..think of me.." it is simply superb editing

@joseph creuza next year. It was gonna be this year, but they didn't want it to conflict with matrix 4 coming out December of this year.

Wow, your voice is so beautiful!! Reminds me of the goddesses from the 80s and 90s; this sort of Sinead O'connor/Dolores O'riordan/Jewel type of tone and i absolutely adore it!! Your music is remarkable!!! 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌❣️❣️❣️

The whole time I'm listening to Kaleida's song, I'm rocking my head. It gives you this mental vibe. It feels like you're living in the music. Listening to it through virtual surround sound software makes it even more immersive.

This was the why the first one I think is the best one because of this song and not any other one of the films had music from Kaleida during a brutal fight scene. I thought there was gonna be scene like that in chapter 2 . I hope more music of Kaleida in chapter, ! Christina and Cicely ❣️❣️❣️
