Update: I realize now that I accidentally swatched the original Ray Rider on top of my Solar Sailor one. Total mistake. I did go just now and compare the two Ray Riders again and they do look pretty much like how they did in this video though. Sorry about the accident! Trying my best😅

I don't get why they included both of those oranges in the palette, they look too similar to each other. I wish there were a green matte shade, a minty one or a deeper purple instead, for example. The same goes for the two shimmery greens. I really enjoy the shade range, though, and I love Kaleidos, so I want to purchase it along with some of their highlighters, brushes and lip products (I already have all of their little eyeshadow palettes). The purple look is so pretty!!!! I totally agree - I wish they replaced one of the green shimmers with a green matte. I wouldn’t have been mad if one of those oranges had been swapped for another purple or green.

Great video! I agree 100% with you on swatches! The blue is disappointing, and you definitely did everything you could to make it work! I do love oranges, but both are too similar, as well the green shimmers-as you said a green matte would have been great. I still want the palette-the shimmers are everything!I’m a big fan of your 3 looks one palette videos, but I completely understand if you cut back on those; you are busy, and I know they require a lot of time/work. Thanks for the eye swatches girl! ❤️ I'm a big Kaleidos fan as I have most of their palettes (even the coveted Deep sea luster palette), but I'm actually thinking about skipping this one. For one I expected an all green and purple palette after their first teaser on Insta which I would've LOVED. And then I saw this palette and I was so disappointed. I just don't care for the bottom row, the neutrals just don't belong there imo and like you said the green shimmer and orangey-coral are so similar to the other 2. Would've loved to see a matte green and some dark matte colors for some depth since the palette is so light/medium toned. The blue was terrible and I already have so many bright purples, oranges and pinks. And I really, really dislike the super bulky packaging. But the shimmers.... the shimmers are to die for! That's the only reason I'm still like: should I still get it lol. I probably shouldn't even though I love Kaleidos 😅

Glad to see I'm not the only one!! I was convinced I was gonna get this palette. After seeing it I had some doubts but still told myself I should get it (I am a hoarder hahah) but after seeing this video confirming my fears that the oranges and greens are dupes of themselves plus the wonky blue... I am, though it pains my heart, realizing I shouldn't buy it. I dont know why I would feel guilty about not buying a palette off a brand I love but I do and so it makes me feel better that there are other people out there also passing on it for the same reasons 🤣 would have loved a full purple and green palette instead as well (my bf says I always wear that colour combination hahah)

I just got this palette in the mail yesterday. I do wish the orange was a different tone, so there is more of a difference with the more coral-orange one. The blue shade I think works best when building up more slowly on the outer edges but then packing it on where you want the most depth. So far anyway***... And I do enjoy that light shade because it helps to mix with the other shades to lighten them. I will probably be using this palette with some of my other matte shadows in my collection though. I still love this palette! The shimmers are gorgeous and colors are definitely my thing. I would have loved a matte green shade (maybe in place of the orange)... and I do wish the darker green was even darker or had another color shift in it, to differentiate it more from the lighter green... but overall I am super happy with this palette and looking forward to Club Nebula too! I love the brand a lot! and they are still fairly new so i understand them trying to perfect their formula and everything (they got shimmers down!). I wont personally be getting this pallet, but im excited to see how they'll improve and will probably be getting whatever they come out with next! I like 3 looks one palette videos, but with smaller beauty KZbinrs, I pretty much like anything they put out! So don't strain yourself to make content that's too difficult to put together super often, do what you like :^)

Those greens are so similar, they look way more different in the pan which is a bummer. 100% agree a matte green would have been better than both those shimmers. The orangey tones are so similar as well. Overall, while I was interested in this palette, I think I’ll have to skip it. I don’t want to spend the money on something with 3 shades (the repeats plus the blue) that I won’t really use. Thanks for the helpful video!

Thanks for switching all of these! I am kinda bummed about the similar shades. I’m a huge orange lover, but I can tell you I don’t need those two in one palette or even both of them in my collection. Same for the green shimmers, even though I do love Kaleidos shimmers, there is enough dimension in one shade that I don’t need another one that’s slightly deeper/lighter. I’m also sad about the blue, it’s such a pretty blue! I did get the Sugarpill Pink Capsule palette and was pretty disappointed with the shimmers and the purple matte was consistently patchy for me. So I guess I got it for the blue shade in there. . . If only I could switch it with this blue. . I don’t know if I will get this palette or not, I’m not super stoked on the neutrals that are in there either so that makes it so I don’t like 1/3 of it. If I do get it I probably will use it in conjunction with that Sugarpill palette. It’s giving me some strong Margaritaville vibes though, which I love. Kaleidos is so close I wish they were 100% perfect, lol, but that’s life. But these new highlights though! I want them all but I know I hate pink highlighters so I’ll get two of them 😂. I have the original formula Ray Rider, it’s the most cool toned highlighter in my collection (that’s a more natural color I mean, which excludes purples and blues 😬) but I don’t think I will repurchase for the new formula. All the swatches were super helpful, thank you! This wasn’t as easy of a decision as I wish it was, so I’m glad I can watch you play with these shades quite a bit before I buy or pass on them.

I have the green ( I use it as an eyeshadow or topper ) & I have the fuscia one "comet catcher" & funny how I depotted them a day before the new one launched LOL 😂 I like the palette but my first impression when I saw it was : why there's 2 of some shades??? 2 greens 2 oranges 2 purples 2 neutrals, but still I like it & it could be a good MONOCHROMATIC palette , bommer the matte blue is not working smoothly! Omg 1:03 seconds in the video and I already agree. Makeup performs differently on your eyelids and swatches just show the color and sometimes the pigment doesn't pay off on your arm it's quite unusual to me but then I put it on my lid and boom the payoff is there! It kind of doesn't make sense xD

It seems like it wouldn’t be Kaleidos without similar shades - even their five pan palettes had two similar shades. Depending on how much this costs, I might get it anyway. I am still anxiously awaiting my order with three highlighters and brush set 😍 🌍 🌌

I was not going to get the palette anyway (don’t get me wrong, Kaleidos seems a very interesting brand) but thanks to your swatches now I can see why: two similar green shades, two coral/orange tones, I already have the two browns and the cream/beige shade. It could work for people that wants to experiment with color, I bet the formula is great. But in my case you just confirmed with your video that, for now, I can pass on that palette. You probably won't see this cause I'm a little late to the party but I was curious how similar is the feral pallete from makeup menagerie and the escape pod are. I was heavily considering feral then this pallete came out and I know I love the kaleidos formula. But then like 7 of the shades looked almost the same between the two. I appreciate your content so much.

I wouldn’t say this looks like the smokey glow at all imo. Yeah it has a few neutrals, a pink, and maybe a couple shimmers that are similar but as a whole they’re totally different color stories. I’m a hugeee fan of my smokey glow one though!

Honestly i feel like it's an annoying thing Kaleidos does - putting 2 VERY similar shades in the same palette. They did this with Futurism I, where both of the goldish shimmers and both of the green mattes looks almost the same on the eye. IN A 5 PAN PALETTE. This palette looks stunning at first glance but then when I really think about it, i'd buy it only for those shimmers (excluding one, because 2 of them are almost identical) and those 2 matte purples which i could probably find somewhere else too. the blue looks bad & the oranges and brown shades are easily dupable in my collection as is. I'll probably end up buying some of the highlighters and that's it.

I'm not gonna lie, I'm pretty disappointed in this release. I was kinda bummed they released just another rainbow palette after waiting so long for a new palette to drop. Yeah the packaging is pretty and all, but no thought really goes into rainbow palettes. I kind of expected something more from them. I have 3 of their other palettes and I really love the interesting color combos. This palette is super boring to me. :(

some ethereal colors are very pretty ,what kaleidos did wrong was to make an wntire palette with colors i would never use .they seem more like a circus to me . let's be honest ....you cannot go out of your home with tones of makeup on yr face. that's crazy .and the cost ....hhh doesnt worth it
