Kalenda/Calinda Stick Fighting Dance Tutorial 4K

Here is a rendition of the Kalenda Martial Arts form that played an integral part of emancipated slaves reclaiming the Carnival of Trinidad and Tobago. The Soca Seniors will become bois men and re-enact the Canboulay Riots through dance form. This is a representation of resistance, emancipation, reclamation and the start of Carnival. Follow along and learn the dance steps to "Buss Head" by Machel Montano and Bunji Garlin.
