Kiitos taas tarinastanne Sadusta aikojen takaa Näitä katsoo kahta silmää Kumpaakaan irroittamatta Korvaakaan kohistamatta Tavuja noit tavaamatta Katsoo yhden katsoo toisen Katsoo kohta kolmannenkin En malta odottaa jatkoa Sanojen suurien taikoja Taikoja aikojen takaa Koittakaa näitä vaan jatkaa.

Kiitos videoista. Olen viime vuosina kiinnostunut entistä enemmän Kalevalasta ja suomen muinaiskulttuurista. Näitä on mukava kuunnella ja fiilistellä. Jatkakaa!

I really love your videos. In my city in Germany there is (normally) every year a small Finnish christmas market where I found a German edition of the Kalevala. I read it and I liked it like no book ever before. Now to hear it in a sung version is very beautiful.

I'm so so so happy that I found you. Kalevala is one of the most magical worlds in folklore for me, so many things led me to it -- the works of Professor Tolkien, threads of Russian and Northern folklore, and I always dreamed of listening to it in Finnish. I am from Russia and the translated runes have a completely different rhythm. Yesterday I received a package with a book of Kalevala runes in Finnish. I'm happy, but I have no idea how to read it properly. It's 6am as I write this, and I've been engrossed in the book for a couple of hours. I'm so lucky to have found your singing, please don't stop. Not many people will find it interesting enough, but people who have been looking for it will be in love with Kalevala, like me. Thank you!

Hi! What Russian translation did you read? The classic translation by Belsky has the same 5/4 time. You may try to sing the Russian text to the music from this video, it fits perfectly.
