I don’t understand why isn’t anyone addressing the setup where the studio monitors are connected to an audio interface and you still want the flexibility to use your monitors for random music streaming like Spotify. This says a lot about this kind of you tubers, completely aside of the normal guy that records music for a hobby

The only things I can really think of off the top of my head (apart from Fluff's suggestions): 1) Guitar + Line 6 wireless connection like G10 > USB Interface > Computer/Laptop with plugins > Bluetooth connection from laptop to Kali > TRS output to amplifier/XLR to front of house 2) Use instead of a standard USB interface? Since it has headphone and monitor out, I wonder how it will handle both plugged in at once and which it chooses to prioritise...

It's actually really useful in a studio environment for bands to leave references and so on

One use would be for the average guy who has powered monitors in his room but only has phone data. I find that using a phone as source with a normal passive controller doesn't provide quite enough power to drive the monitors properly. I usually have to use an app on my phone and apply gain. This device uses 5v power which solves that issue. Only drawback is if you use Bluetooth I believe the highest resolution the codec supports is 16bit. But there is also a 3.5mm imput so yeah this would be perfect to use with a phone.

Hi! Greetings from Ukraine! Can I ask you an advice? I want to use it in my home studio, I have an interface with 4 inputs and 2 pairs of monitors outputs. My volume knob does not work good, (behringer usb monitor controller), so can I integrate kali audio with my interface , to have possibility use voulme knob from kali as my main volume controll for my two pairs of monitors? How I must to connect kali with behringer? Very grateful for help.

I thought I'll learn something about this device apart it's Bluetooth device. Would be nice you show us some real of it: how it glows being connected to for example your audio card, or how much Bluetooth change the audio quality if so, or is it really reliable when auditioning for example sound from my iPad on my Adam A7Xs, and so on. Just talking, well it's a bit shallow as presentation. A good start, I would say. Part 2?

I would kinda get this product if it had through-jacks so you could add the Volume knob and the Bluetooth to your monitors, but like this? The only use case I can see is, turning some active monitors you have "laying around" into a bluetooth stereo (for 100$, yikes).

The bluetooth is fast when playback from Spotify on my MacOS. As soon as I use a peripheral like Maschine or my Pioneer digital DJ setup, the latency makes the Mountain View not usable. Are there any tips to deal with this?

There are definitely latency issues, which is inherent to Bluetooth. The AptX codec is about as good as it gets in this regard, but it's still a little laggy.
