I am a JKD-Kali student/practitioner and my sifu comes from Inosanto school. I just clearly recognize Inosanto teachings, your techniques are the same we study. Great job, keep up the work.

My instructor is Enrico Luciolli, and he's affiliated to Research System (the italian team authorized group by Ron Balicki). He also studied with Giovanni Candela, Nino Pilla, and Dan Inosanto himself. Also he studies silat with Maul Mornie.

@harukohayashi Sorry, I misunderstood. Yes... plenty of counterattacks going on here. I train some of this stuff myself (Lameco and JKD among other things) and the counter strategy is one of the things I like the most about FMAs and similar systems.

thank you my friend. how long did you train under ron before you got your certification?
@rvhflavio7 жыл бұрын
I have started in 1996 and still studying under Ron Balicki. I also studying under others instructors. Do you mean the first instructor certificate? you got once you know the whole curriculum.. average takes a few years.

Take a look at different styles. They all have similarities.
@rvhflavio7 жыл бұрын
All styles have partly common aspect, indeed
@Wavemaninawe14 жыл бұрын
@harukohayashi Most of the FMA styles I've seen use parries and blocks. Of course, there are lots of them so it wouldn't surprise me if some do only counters.
