Wow, amazing. Have y'all looked at the stats on this channel? 1,143 videos over the last 10 years and 12 days. That's an average of 114 videos per year or one video posted every 3 days, on average. Over 10 years! Imagine if we had been practicing Kali with every video over the last 10 years, we'd by pretty friggin' good at it by now, even better if we had a partner to train with. I swing the sticks from time to time but, no where near what I could have done or be doing. Or, for budding and wannabe KZbinrs, that kind of consistency is what gets you hundreds of thousands of followers. In any case, THANK YOU PAUL AND KALI CENTER! Your consistency and high quality content and instruction are models for how we should do anything worth doing in our lives.

Well done I rarely see this being shared. Which is odd because this has so much value. Offense Defense Transition Match it with footwork and it's like opening a new world of possibilities for newbies. Once again well done.

Amazing technique! Yeah, now that I think about it, it’s not shown often but is signature to FMA

What is the purpose of this move? To punch with tip of the stick or with the knuckle? Can someone explain the use of this movement for actual fight? Thanks.

It's just a more linear way to strike with the weapon. It's a little reminiscent of the types of strikes you find in balintawak. You're giving up power in that linearity, but the strike is naturally less telegraphed than a lot of the more circular movements you'd normally see in pekiti tirsia. Of course, you *can* use this to punch with the hand if you're just really close to the opponent. It's just another tool, plenty of potential applications

Fantastic, thank you. Great to again see from all angles to help build a full 3D perspective and get the attack angulation just right. Following from behind really consolidates it all :)
