Thanks for the review, Moose! The .22 Crickets are super versatile. So far, with mine, the long version, the JSB 15.9 gr shoot best 950-968 fps; the 25.4 gr Monster redesigns are great at 930fps; I'm going to guess the 18.13 JSBs fly best around 940 fps, judging by a target at 960 fps. Every gun is different; but, this is what I'm seeing with mine, regulator set to 120 bar.

Great video. Your expounding on the different missiles, weights, flight speed is spot on. Every rifle or pistol will have a "preferred" projectile it will shoot so much better than any other (within the population of projectiles chosen and all other variables at play); that is, I believe, your point, Thank you for the awesome explanations and for sharing your experiences.

Moose, see what you get when the JSB 18.13grain fly around 916-920 fps. Yep, it sounds a little slow, but... I just did some shooting, adjusting, using the chronograph & got some tight groups. Really, I was running the hammer spring tensioner a bit in and out and when the groups were best, checked the chrony. With these Crickets, it helps to know what the regulator is set at, so when the tank pressure gets close to that, you stop before going off the regulator. I hope John Hagan is still making regulator testers; he did a beautiful job on mine. It's squirrel season now, so the lighter ammo is fine. Once groundhogs are around, it'll be time to rethink ammo. It'd be great to know what speed the 30gr, slugs were grouping at...nice!

Lets economize on the stock and call it tactical :-) I think the full stock looks better. Solid rifle and nice testing.

Moose, I have to first say that I love your videos do to you are always telling the truth on your reviews and for that I just want to say thanks. Now I want your input on the Kalibrgun 2 Tactical in .22 and the FX wildcat Bottle that came out recently. I’m in the market for one of the two and since I admire your honesty and advice on the matter I’d like to know which of the 2 air guns you recommend and why. As I recall the Kalibrgun 2 Tactical has the power, shot count and reliability. The Wildcat BT on the other hand has a grate shot count good accuracy and plenty of power, but as far as reliability with seal leaks that I keep hearing about all over KZbin has me confused. I desperately need your opinion and expertise on the matter.. Thank you, and looking forward to your next video A fan of your work from Greece Thomas

Thank you for the trust. That's a hard decision for sure. While FX can have some issues, the warranty covers those, and once the issues are resolved, if there are any, it's a great gun. The Kalibrgun is a great gun as well. I think you will get more power from the FX Wildcat Bottle for sure. Honestly, I think either one would be a great choice.
@nasoskaratzas2 жыл бұрын
I want to thank you once again for your quick response and for your honest opinion I'm still in a small conflict LOL but I'm leaning towards the FX Wildcat since here in Greece we don't have any service for the caliber guns. Waiting patiently for your next video🤗

Soo for 1700 to 1900 vs a 2000$ impact which do you choose? Impact compact or cricket tatical for the money?
@abitoutside2 жыл бұрын
Well as the Impact would be a compact, I guess it would depend on what you wanted to do with them.
@Dodge-gh9om2 жыл бұрын
I should have said if barrels are equal and air cyclinders are comparable is the impact worth the extra bones over the cricket tactical? Pesting and paper punching will be what it is used for. Thanks

Hello great video. I just bought a tactical 60 .22. The 30,5 gr zan slugs were very goog, did you use the .217 or the .218 slugs? I would like to buy the right one.

Great review, was really interested in this new Cricket Tactical and how it shoots. How was the mag load into the gun? It looks like that can be a little tricky.
@abitoutside3 жыл бұрын
The mag takes a little bit to get used to but a few mags being loaded is all it takes to get the hang of it. Great pew pew for sure!
