Kalihi Saddle The hardest hike in Hawaii

Man what a great video. The music was a bit too loud in places, so it obscured your words, but that hike looks like a blast! A couple questions, if you see this: - what’s the total distance on the hike? Did you go all the way to the lighthouse? - it looked like there was some kind of fixed line along the ridge in the early part of the video. Had you been wearing a harness, could you have clamped in with a carabiner? Who is responsible for that line? I would be a little nervous trusting its integrity. - same along the rabbit ears area. It looked like you had a fixed line. Is it rope or some kind of strap? - the last major portion where you showed an actual strap…how vertical is that part of the hike? It looks like it was 70+ degrees, but it was hard to tell from the video. - how much of the ridge did you walk versus “scooting”? The dragon’s back look like you guys were scooting. Amazing video man. Super cool hike to have documented like that. Makes me wish I could visit and hike. Are there many injuries on that hike? People who fall? Cheers man.
