I was an ardent fan of Sri Gopi Krishna and Smt. Vyjayanthimala ! Now I am awestruck by Dr. PADMA SUBRAHMANIYAM 'S dance performance ! My hearty Pranaams to her after watching her age-defying movements related to her dance & expressions !

Excellent Abhinaya by Dr. PADMA SUBRAHMANIYAM while performing the famous Dance -- Kaalinga Narthanam-- ! With her best knowledge of the Natya Shasthra theory, she has become a role model for young students interested in learning more about the Bharatha Naatya and the Naatya Shasthra theory ! This piece is taken from the Krishnaya Thubhyam Namaha Roopakam with Shlokas from NARAYANEEYAM with vocals from Smt. Shyamala Balakrishnan , who gave a splendid performance to match the unique dance steps and the Abhinaya of Dr. PADMA SUBRAHMANIYAM , while showing the fiercely Kaalinga's expression as well as that of the toddler Krishna ! I feel she is very fit , being able to twist her body in all directions and move her hands and legs quickly giving perfect expressions to the Shlokas of the Narayaneeyam ! Even at her advanced age she gives competition to the younger generation of dancers ! I had heard about her but had not watched her dance performance ! Now I think , she is second to none as far as her Bharatha Natyam is considered ! My utmost love and respects to her VIDYA ( Proficiency) and my heart-felt salutations to her ! ❤😂
