I’m glad you reviewed this shoe. I feel pretty much the same way you do, my pair are the suede all black colorway and have held up super well. They’re almost more like a mix between a Vulc and a cupsole. When I need any impact protection I switch to the OG Lynx’s. Those might be a little too bulky for you tho.

Vince amir they’re a lot bulkier dude, but I kind of prefer that. They’re very supportive and have a lot of ankle support. You have to break in the flick a bit (it sticks at first) but it’s worth it cuz they’re super durable.

Bought this shoe right after breaking up with my first gf. Skated the black/grey with red toe cap one for about 10 months, tore it to shreds never have I enjoyed a shoe more. It slips on perfectly after breaking in and has that true "sock like feel". The grip from the sole is one of my favorites too once you wear it down a bit.

My only complaint with these was that I wore through the top lace eyelet on my front foot, even though the shoes still had a ton of life left in them. Luckily I was able to fix it by riveting on a new one. Besides that these shoes are super durable and it looks like they fixed the eyelet problem on the vulcs.

These are my first DCs after repping the adidas Busznets for 2 years. rode through philly for min with these. tons of street shit and not gonna lie these are stiff but it took a min to get used to it. The soles are very stiff def not vulc or 1/2 vulv. I had to break them in before doing my normal tricks. After 100 ollies no damage at all. besides skid falls on the top leather 7-10

Joslin 2 review would be dope! I purchased two pairs of the Joslin 1 right out the gate. Only complaint, is that I should have sized up as these things are super tight and run and little small in my opinion.

I have never tried DC. 2020 House sessions are where it is at. 💯 production value. I order some of the Vans Foot The Bill customs that support select local shops. My local (but a 2 hour drive) is Bluetile. So I built their custom model to support. It is a Vans slip on. Probably won't skate it but, pumped to get some fresh kicks. Not one of the 51% not subbed.

Can you do a review of the tribeckas(DC)? You have really changed my mind about cupsole shoes. As an older skater(47) these Retro DC’s have save a ton of lower back pain and foot pain. Especially on an Achilles heal I injured a year back and it does seem to get re-aggravated after a street sesh. Also even on flat ground the impact being lesser on these DC’s means I can skate longer and not go to bed with throbbing back and foot pain. Yoooo! Also just a suggestion taking from the JRE podcast he says consistent frequency helps to get a bigger audience. As a creative I know it’s easier said than done. Oh also if you really like a shoe put even more detailed emphasis as to why(ie. Ben Degros KZbin channel). No disrespect or trolling just trying to help you out a bit. Hey this comment is nothing like art school critiques remember those(ouch! )? Send it Boy Let’s go!!
