The auto attack was that light green mist. When he was too close to his target you couldn't see it at all but on farther targets there would be a mistake trail leading to mundo.

They nerf Kalistas passive because "too op" but then come out with ambessa. They wont give her E an execute indicator because "too OP" but then will come out with Mel. Make it make sense

not defending riot cause its a shit company but kalista E isn't an execute like mel passive or pyke ult, it just does a huge chunk of damage and people usually pop it when it will kill them, same way garen ult isn't an execute it's just much better to use it when it will kill them

It's a lack of consistency. I can understand Zed and Cho has execute symbol. For Zed, he's ult is more of additional damage for his other abilities, you don't need to press anything to deal damage from ultimate, it happens regardlessly. For Cho, you deal true damage, so it's rather easy to see execute threshold, it's not hidden info that needs calculates like Mel. You can easily check target's hp and your ult damage to see if it kills or not. But Mel needs to calculate damage based on number of passive stack and target's MR. So giving execute symbol for Mel is actively helping Mel players. Why don't they give the same thing to Kalista? I bet they thought it's unfair to give such thing to help players when they made Kalista. And they changed their thought when they designed Mel. Because they always back down from their original idea. RIOT is always consistent at not being consistent.

Kalista auto attack is coded as a minion, same as Hextec chests, so when they removed Hextec chests, Kalista autos disappeared.

Speaking of becoming tanky. Have you tried a full-tank Kalista build before? 1. Runes: Grasp, Demolish, Conditioning, Overgrowth, Triumph, Alacrity - Attack Speed, Adaptive, Scaling Health. 2. Items: Start with Blade of the Ruined King --> Heartsteel --> Overlord's Bloodmail --> Jak'Sho (if the enemy team has both physical and magic damage) / Randuin's (if enemy team has someone that deals very high crit damage, such as Draven or Caitlyn) / or Kaenic if the enemy has a lot of magic damage. --> Last item is situational, be creative :D 3. Boots: Depending on the enemy team comp. Mercs for high CC, Armor for primarily auto-attackers, Swifty's or Zerker's could also work. Situational. 4. Skills: Alternate between Q and E. Only level up W and R if you have a jungler who is often around. Bonus tip: If you know that you will have a farming lane, buy a Cull early.

This game was insane amounts of grievous wounds. Mundo and Poppy with thornmail, Cait and Trist with Mortal Reminder, Senna and Viego with Executioner's Calling. I get your team buying it, they have a Mundo and Tahm Kench with Unending Despair and Lee sin's w healing. Your team's healing consists of your bork, viego's ultimate, and your ad senna's q. Feels like Cait really trolled her build with the moral reminder imo
