In order to protect word of his brother inlaw kripa entered arena asked karna his parents his gothram then entered dhuryodhana where karna life started to fuck up . Due his bad friendship and some bad decisions and bad mouth he lost his aura . Even with all curses , without divine armour he fought . In the lastday karna went god mode in afternoon . In last day only he used vijay dhanush . As per bheeshma karna is 0.5 arjun strength . With vijay he become 0.75 . Even arjun was shocked in 17th and said " oh krishna karna look like a afternoon sun in summer so dont take our chariot near him there is chance he might kill me if i go near him " on the same day karna defeated bheema once , yudhisthira,nakula and sahadev twice . They ran from him literally .even krishna and Arjuna were mesmerized in last day battle . Even with selya words ,curses ,loses of his son infront of him he fought dude .just imagine if he was given as much respect as arjun before dhuryodhana enter his life ,if kunti said about his birth on time if he was raised and loved as much as Pandavas in mahal . If he was taught like arjun . Remember he caught the eye of parashuram with his skill only . Even parashuram gifted him with vijay that even Bheeshma didn't get . If he was never with adharma then karna will be 2*arjun in my view . He is great archer but being with bad people he lost lots his aura got curses , lost lots his strength . Just like how slow poison will kill u and reduce ur strength he lost his aura and strength just because he had friendship with bad person .
