Great "feel of the steering wheel"! Super technical, fine, neither too much nor too little. No waste of time with exaggerated drifts when exiting a turn, exits "in line" ... You have perhaps the most beautiful driving technique which must be super efficient on snow in particular. In the dry, you have to be a little more "crazy": brake very late as on a circuit without compromising the speed when exiting a turn etc. You can win the Artic Rallye.

You can all ways tell the difference between a professional and amauter driver by the way they hold the steering wheel. A professional will always have their hands on 9 and 3 as it gives the most control over corrections and will never remove unless it is physically impossible to get around the corner without it.

@@ozone1894 that’s alright mate, it’s very similar to the shifter used now, it’s sequential so there’s no need for the clutch when changing gear. The clutch is normally used on the start line and only ever used in stage on very tight hairpins to avoid stalling, besides that the sequential box essentially uses the clutch for you

The car is not shifting itself, he is shifting with a paddle on the right side. That paddle does both upshifts and downshifts.
