This Kid is the new boss

Take it you didn't see Sweden then. Sorry what position did he finish? People think he can just be dominant. Nakamura can just dominate the kid has a long way to go.

He has potential to be a boss. But hes still young and has a lot of pressure to do good I think. Wrc champion. Fd win. All that adds up to big expectations. If he focuses and keeps his eyes on the price, at this point he will not win the season trophy but he can learn alot and come back next year and dominate many years to come. But can he win a round or two? Absolutely very possible

And Nakamura, hes 42, he has soo much experience and in Japan these boys drive every day. EVERYDAY, they get seat time. But so far no Japanese has ever done that good in europe or middle east. I cant comment on US, but I know that Nakamura also feels alot of pressure, and maybe he came a litttle unprepared to the first round. But he got into his flow, and most experienced drivers once they catch their flow they are unstopable. Can Naoki compete for the season cup? Aboalutely. Hes got a nice chance. Can he win? We will have to wait and see. Stay tuned folks!

@@se7en910 try to win an event with a blown exhaust manifold. They need to get the car working at all times and then we can talk about his performances.

I deeply respect Kalle, he's such a talented driver. But with missing round 1 of Drift Masters and having a blown exhaust manifold in round 2 there's no championship for him this year. Maybe a top 10 fin(n)ish for him, but honestly - with all the respect I have for him, I don't think he's going to win or even podium any DMEC event *this* year. Yes, he won FDJ first shot with no experience, but in my opinion, he got handed a very good car on a very bad track. I still don't like this Ebisu Layout, it just doesn't flow very well and has a kind of unnatural line that makes it hard to battle. But this is the second year they ran this layout and they made slight adjustments to it, so basically every driver needed to get acclamated to this layout. Same with Drivecenter AB where Naoki was kind of an opposite example to it although the layout isn't that bad, just very fast. I don't know which rounds he will be competing at, maybe he has a good chance in Finland but Riga and Germany are tracks that the rest of the pack has so much experience on, that there must be a lot of carnage or weather caprioles for him to climb up the podium to be honest. But we'll see how it goes and I'm crossing my fingers for everyone out there doing their best they can do!

Thank you for such a wonderful comment! We welcome more like this! We want to hear your opinion. And I think you are thinking correctly. FDJ is not really comprable to drift masters. Out here in Japan, I think its not as competative as in Europe or USA. And theres a lot more politics. Drift Masters is a tough one to be just top 10. So if he gets top 5, I think thats a victory, but to do that he needs podium! But hey what u think about a kalle rovanpera after three years of drifting, that man probably can take the top.

@@OMTbybandana I watched Kalle's vlog about round 2 of Drift Masters and, to be honest, it changed my mind a bit about how competitive he *really* is in this sport. For someone who can't visit every event like me and can only get their infos about drivers and the competition itself through social media (Reels, livestreams and vlogs most importantly) it is sometimes hard to estimate the potential a driver really has when there are situations like crashes in practice like Orjan Nilsen had or technical failures, like the blown exhaust manifold on Kalle's Supra. But the shots of his working car in his vlog had me thinking "damn, this thing is a weapon." When they get the reliability issues sorted I think he is definitely able to be a big menace to a lot of the drivers in the field and he can mess up someone else's championship fight. Maybe he makes it into the Top 10 this year, but there are only four rounds remaining to put in big scores so he needs a lot of luck and even more skill to do that, because he is currently sitting in 29th overall position. I really don't know if I'm a fan of such a short season with only 6 rounds but it mostly has financial reasons I guess. Sponsorships in Europe aren't as big as they are in America. A lot of drivers can't afford to spend 8 or even more weeks to travel all across Europe and therefore we have to make the sport slowly but surely grow more and more to attract more and more sponsors to the sport and maybe in the future we are able to have at least eight or even more rounds here in Europe to represent even more of our beautiful countries. Some drivers are even dreaming about a world series, but I think something big must be happening to make that possible. Let's see, what Adam LZ can achieve with his world tour which is more of a fun event with lots of famous names attending.
