Thank you Jimmy. This is my first hearing of this fine piece. Is that a forte-piano or just an early build of a piano?

No it's just a grand piano....in what part do you believe it is a forte piano? thanks :)

Thanks. It just sounds like a period instrument to me. Do the album notes indicate the maker? It has a very individual sound.

This recording will be included in a proper album in the next future. Anyway I can tell you that it is a Yamaha C5 grand piano. Perhaps it is due to mic placement and the room acoustics itself (very dry - reverb added)...or the pianist?.... On my channel all the recordings, from Martinu-Sonatina onwards, have been made with the same settings (piano/room/mics)... on the other pieces do you hear the same sound? Anyway I'll speak about this with the pianist soon (I'm the clarinetist). thanks for listening
