I've had an extreme case of eczema my entire life, causing my hands to be wrinkley and dry. I was bullied for it in school, and I've always hated my hands. I've always just wanted "normal hands" Now that I'm older I'm fine with them, but I just wanted to say thank you Kris. It's a very strange thing that probably only affected me, but it made my day.

I once had a first date at a wave pool. As soon as we got there the waves started up and I was *so* excited to get in. He was confused and straight asked "Wait, you're actually gonna swim?" Got into your channel a few months ago and watching them has helped me through a tough time in my life. I am in my 50s, MD, did a dumb guy thing and got a severe brain injury. Luckily, I lived despite my stupidness, but have had to retire early/go on permanent disability from a profession that I spent most of my life on and really love the job and over time actually got pretty good at it. Such is life. Watching your vids have been really helpful in getting through this transition in my life. Thank you from my heart. Weird question: Where did you get the snake ring in this vid on your right index finger? Asking because my 14 year old daughter asked me to get one for her years ago. I looked extensively, but that one is the coolest I've ever seen. She is our only child and I like to find unique and cool stuff for her as it has been a tough time for our family and I'm trying to be the best Dad I can be while trying hard to navigate the emotional/intellectual minefield of raising an adolescent (ha ha that's never been hard, right?, lol) in the modern world. I tried to introduce your channel to her (I'm trying to be a cool dad, right?) and when I described you, was having a "senior" moment and couldn't dredge up your name from my older brain (notice the -er right? Can't use the "O" word, I'm not dead yet, got a few good years left, lol), and my daughter almost immediately recognized you from the description (Smart young lady!! Probably my genes). Oh crap, I'm in trouble if my wife reads this (she's a doc, too). Whew, I remembered, she doesn't like KZbin, so my life is not in danger, lol. My daughter really likes your KZbin and Tiktok stuff. Kris is so hilarious. Talking about being a heavy sleeper, my family and I were at Disneyland and staying in a hotel there. One night, the fire alarm went off, and everyone evacuated, including my aunt, uncle and cousins. They were freaking out trying to text us, but we wouldn’t reply. My mom remembers hearing the faintest sound of the sentence, “You can go back to your rooms now.” My sister and I wake up and find out that we all slept through a fire alarm, and didn’t hear a thing. That’s how heavy we sleep.

Got a story of my own to share; I was on an overnight boat trip with my family, and my brother and I were on the top bunks, which meant my ear was centimetres away from the PA speaker. In the morning, the speaker loudly announced that breakfast was being served and/or we were nearly at our destination (I really don't remember what I was told it said), but I managed to sleep through it while my entire family was woken up by it. Now I vary between being a light sleeper and a heavy sleeper depending on when I fall asleep lmao

*9:00* As a person who occasionally sleeps on my back (when it’s above 68 degrees Fahrenheit) I sleep with my right leg up in a sprinting position, my left hand under my head, and my right arm holding a squishmallow Hope this helps all you non-back sleepers as to what some of us normal people do :}

I’m a heavy sleeper, like a security guard couldn’t wake me up, I went to the nurse because of me sleeping. So yeah 😂
