I agree with Dynamic Pepper, I can't do all the kicks to the same level, but I can demonstrate them and coach them. We teach our students all the technics to the best of our abillity. The reward is the students can sometimes end up doing the technics better than we do. That's the goal, improve the art by by sharing.

El cuerpo debe saber caer ,pero algunos no piensan que sus alumnos deben trabajar y hacer actividades normales fuera del Doyan

He pensado lo mismo. Las proyecciones sobre tarima duelen bastante si no estás acostumbrado. Aun así, la mayoria del video son cinturones altos y dominan bien las técnicas de caída.

Hapkido does not need 25 kicks....most are not practical
@eNosArmory6 жыл бұрын
When you learn English.... do you learn the entire language fluently, or only the words your feel are practical???? Its not a question of need... as an instructor it is your duty to pass down the art in its entirety to your students. As a student it is your job to learn the art in its entirety, and then use the technics that work best for you. What works for one person is not going to work for everybody (Just like language... we don't all speak the same). If you strip away all the kicks in the art away to only the ones you feel are practical (say 7) and only train those 7 kicks as "the best kicks"... then your students are going to learn only those and maybe find that 2 or 3 kicks are the ones they do best and like. So then they pass down the 2 or 3 "best of the best" kicks to their students and maybe those students only do 1 of the kicks really well and like it.... so then they go around teaching everyone "The Best Kick Ever!!"... and you have effectively killed your martial art.... and created a bunch of shitty fighters.
