The direction was nice. The actors were really good. The music is really good. Then why wasnt the storyline? Warning the next few lines contain criticism about this series, and if you loved it and do not want to hear criticism, please ignore this comment. Saranya was at fault and is still at fault. The ending is not justified and his anger is. See, i understand the need to end all dramas and shows with a happy “the boy gets the girl” or the “girl gets the boy” ka ending. But then again, sometimes, there are times where you have to be realistic and honest to your craft. What this final episode did was glorify relationships where gaslighting happens. (Glorify toxic relationships. There. I said it.) In actuality, the boy should infact leave the girl, cause she had no respect or trust on him. If she really did do nothing in bangalore, why did she feel the need to lie to him when she came back? Lack of trust. That’s what. All you romance genre lovers will be like, “oh it’s just a story, just suck it up and move on!” Well guess what? No. Not if the initial episodes show you a progessive storyline that gets your hopes up only in the end to be demolished by this “made for media” ka episode. Honestly, i am dissapointed. The story would have been more truthful, if he had left her, because no. This is not how relationships work. And to give it a happy ending, means everybody who are in a relationship like this will think it’ll get better or that they are at fault if it is not better. Throughout these five episodes, not once were we shown the girl doing ANYTHING literally, ANYTHING for him. She had no personality, except the fact that her parents split and that made her sad. Oh and her dad got married. Real bummer. 😢 A bad mental health DOES NOT justify shitty behaviour. She had the AUDACITY, to leave without an explanation and come back as if nothing happened. See, if you are having an episode, or having a bad mental health and need time alone, communicate that with your partner. If they love you, they WILL understand. Bad mood or a bad past does not justify you being a shitty person in general. So thayava seidhu, idhu maari relationship laam glorify pannadha maari oru series ah edunga. The four episodes really made me mad due to the characters but happy for the fact that people are brave enough to take short films and series like these, highlighting the reality of relationships at times. BUT NO. YOU HAD TO RUIN IT with the feeding the basic media standards by making them end up together. :( Remember, as much as you love doing films and series as a profession, it is a medium through which people come together and share ideas. Share views. Share reality. And that was not seen here. AND PEOPLE, IF YOU ARE IN A RELATIONSHIP LIKE THIS, WHERE YOU FEEL LIKE YOU ARE ONLY GIVING AND GIVING AND NOT RECEIVING, GET OUT. SERIOUSLY. YOU DESERVE BETTER. YOU NEED RESPECT FOR THE OTHER PERSON AND YOURSELF. SO, GO GET THAT. istg the girl literally said i wont make you come behind me like a dog, and the next shot is him walking behind her for hours. 😂
