You are making a little mistake my brother. She has used (;) this punctuation not a colon (:). (;) Punctuation separates different phrases within one sentence. So basically she wrote- Wittenberg, Germany; Pope's court, Rome; Emperor Charles V's court.

In this complete session i noticed that the character Mephistophilis has different variations in the spelling of his name like Mephastophilis, Mephistopheles and Mephistophilis.
