Happy debut to these three! I'm really glad I stumbled across one of their TikTok lives a month ago. I've loved seeing them gear up for this debut, and I can tell there's so much more to their journey than we know. I'm excited to see this group break boundaries in the KPOP industry!

Big Ocean were also my first group who I started following pre-debut. I came across them in my youtube shorts and then looked them up and they were so adorable and their approach is so cool I got really excited to see them debut. I'm so proud of how hard they are working. I know they've mentioned wanting to make music from the sounds they can hear and tell their stories as well which is so cool. I think they're planning to try and release something every month to keep the momentum up vs drop a whole album. I suppose, whilst a lot of kpop companies debut groups as a business exercise, Parastar wanted to debut a group the help elevate disabled artists to a new level of fame and public visibility so for them it's probably more about exposure and reach than album sales at the moment. I also love that the tech they've developed with the vibrating watches and stuff could one day lead to us seeing groups with a mixture of d/Deaf and hearing artists in, there could be so many more artists and dancers who could have chances following them it's so exciting.

The more I hear about them, the more fascinating this group and their company become! I truly think they're a breath of fresh air in the K-idol industry. I hope that their goal always stays this way- I love the idea of a new generation of performers with hearing impairments looking up to them

10:34 As a Brazilian, I am learning sign language through a project proposed by my college, as a complementary course. As someone with a level of hearing loss, I always wanted to learn sign language, but my city didn't have teachers specializing in the area at the time. It's been very interesting to learn about the history behind sign language in my country, we even had a case last year of a small completely deaf village that created its own sign language and was recognized by the country's government

It's sad to hear that they started out as 7 members but the other 4 couldn't withstand the hardships and dropped out one by one. It's hard enough for fully able people to what idols do, but to do it with a hearing impairment? I couldnt even imagine

I didn't know they started out as 7! I absolutely commend the 3 that stayed. You're right, idol training is hard enough. I can't imagine that the industry is very willing to adapt to performers with hearing impairments. Plus all the discouraging remarks on their dreams that I'm sure they received before debut. I'm really proud of them for debuting, they're a breath of fresh air!
