I wish cartoons were still this high quality. Even shorts back then are better than anything new chartoons have to offer

@@KidPrarchord95 not even bruh, this is the first time I've ever seen this pilot and just everything from the sound design, to the animation style, its just supirior in my opinion. There isn't as much heart put into things anymore, I'm trying to imagine if this was made today, and I know it would be so much different. I just don't like the way modern things are made anymore, its not about "time" its about quality, and people before just did everything better
@KidPrarchord952 жыл бұрын
@@cringywafflesquirrel4015 It is absolutely about the time. You said it yourself, even: You don't like that it's different. That is the perfect descriptor: modern cartoons are neither better nor worse than the old ones. They are simply different. Do you really need to pretend that what you like is better than what someone else likes just to enjoy it? I feel everyone would be happier if we just accepted that, yes, we may not like the new things, but that doesn't make them bad. You claim a quality difference, an absence of heart, but that is simply not the case. Animators, writers, voice actors, composers, and everyone else involved all put in just as much passion as they did all those years ago. They simply are doing it with the goal of a different product than that of the past. New cartoons being good, despite being different, does not discredit what old cartoons have accomplished. It's just the medium transforming, changing, molding, mixing into something new, as culture always did. We see it time and time again: The older generations become blinded by preference, thinking the media that proceeds their childhood is objectively worse. It's happened for all of history, and the only way it can stop is with us. Whether you agree with me or not on the supposed quality of newer works, I only ask that you remember this: All artistic mediums have beauty to be embraced. Sometimes they change into something we no longer enjoy, but change is the way of life. Please do not mourn for what has gone, but instead cheer for the chance it gives for a new, different wave of people to make the same happy memories, learning experiences, and artistic appreciation that we did all those years ago.

Aw man, this really should've been a series. I mean Cameron was a potential superhero there, and a cool one too since he could turn into animals! Yes he can turn into other things, but I've always wanted the ability to turn into animals so.... Also, I want to see Cameron tell Susie about his powers, maybe she would've become his sidekick.

Wonder why they didn't call this short Wish Kid sine he turns into anything by wishing? Oh wait, I think there was already a cartoon show with that name and Macaulay Culkin of Home Alone fame starred in it. At least this short is better.
