I'm glad they're still paying homage to the original by playing this, it's a great song. This is such a vocally driven song though, and it's very difficult to match the same special duet that Khan and Simmons pulled off.

Booksn'stuff his voice is too thin and light, whereas Roy had a deeper midrange. Floor's voice is similar to Roy's.

I must be the only person on the planet that prefers Tommy to Khan. Khan was brilliant and a good songwriter but in the end he could not hit the high notes that he could before. Tommys vocals are very strong.

Since Roy said good bye to Kamelot, the band died :/... He has a great voice, even singing live, I guess he used more than he had and maybe he injured himself screaming or using thorat but anyway, his voice was (or is if still exist XD) amazing... I'd love to hear a duet with him and Floor *-*

It's Ms. Pirazzi Oo Tommy sounds suspiciously similar to Khan, at least. Slightly less bass in his voice, but the mids and highs are closer than any vocalist change I've ever heard.

Sound is really bad so, you can't really appreciate Floor's voice but I think he over shadows Simone even though I'm fan of Simon. I had the chance to hear Fabio Lione-Simone Simons duet and it was amazing!!!! But agree Roy is missed.

Paradiso? I thought it was ok, but Simone and Roy had some chemistry, totally missed that when she sang with Fabio. Not bad, not at all. But I was really disappointend mostly because I saw Kamelot a year before the show with Fabio, and they promised me a Live DVD... I did not get tickets that early to hear Fabio Leone sing with them. But I do must say that the song Tommy did on that show was great. My friend and I looked at each other at that moment and said something like if they don't get this guy to replace Kahn? They are crazy!

I know they are the newest generations in my two favorite bands but... They can't sing the old songs for anything. Floor can't do opera songs like Tarja and tommy doesn't have the tragedy and emotion Roy had during some songs. I just kinda wish they would stick to there songs

Brandon Troia Okay, I agree that Tommy isn't AS good as Roy. But saying Floor can't do opera songs like Tarja... Have you listened to After Forever and ReVamp? There are many songs in which she displays her versatility singing in a lyric style. Forever, Evoke, Precibus, Monolith of Doubt and these are just some of them. Edit: Maybe Floor isn't your cup of tea when she's singing NW's oldies, but she's the best female vocalist in metal, PERIOD.

my problem with tommy is not so much the singing, but the songwriting. kamelot just lost its romanticism along with roy, the songs were not that deep anymore. i love floor in ayreon and I became a nightwish fan through anette so I can't comment on the tarja days, but floor feels too dark for the anette songs, even for the latter nightwish albums, i keep on imagining them with anette's vocal lightness and I think I would enjoy them better.
