Oh yeah! I love this song, along with _The Human Stain,_ and _March of Memphisto._

one of my favorite songs from Kamelot is the live version of Elizabeth, it shows a great range of their ability during Roy Khan's era (the same vocalist form this video) Song: Elizabeth I, II, III LIve from One Cold Winters Night kzbin.info/www/bejne/m5TZeXWClsmUrq8 Some history: The band originated in Florida though you are right they definitely follow the style of the European prog/power metal. Members from the original line up in this music video are the guitarist, Thomas Youngblood, who is still with the band today. Roy Khan the vocalist here joined mid 90's and was their vocalist up until 2012, he has just recently started making music again with his first band Conception. he left the band due to burnout and other personal reasons and considers the song "The Great Pandemonium" his farewell to the fans. In the letter to the fans explaining his departure, he actually ends it with a rebuttal of a line from "The Great Pandemonium". The songs most people recommend are form the Epica and Black Halo albums which are both conceptual albums that follow one another. they follow loosely the story of Faust Their live DVD "One Cold Winter's Night" is a great place to find any song to react to. Their new vocalist Tommy Karevik ( 2012 - current) has produced three albums with the band now with a noticeable style change. the community definitely has opinions regarding their newest albums but overall still great music. There's a lot more history with the band but this is a quick and dirty summary that I'm sure people will add to! ( I didn't want to write an essay)

I like this "oldie" with Roy Kahn, the original singer of Kamelot (saw them twice in the Netherlands). In 2012 they announced that Tommy Karevik (of a band called Seventh Wonder) replaced Roy as singer, who had some health issues. More Kamelot with Simone Simons (from Epica), *_The Haunting_* live: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iKSwiauuebJ5j7s

Kamelot is from tampa florida, but the singer in this period is Norwegian He is actually a trained opera singer. The current singer is from sweden Tommy Karevik. fun fact: recon u have heard of Epica Kamelot had an album called Epica, as the guitarist and founding member of epica is a fan of kamlot he actually took the name from that album :) Also the man playing the keyboard is the husband of simone simons the singer of epica :)

I'd stay stick with Roy Khan era which is true peak Kamelot. Songs like Center of the Universe, Forever, Farewell, Karma, Memento Mori, Elizabeth. Any songs post 2012 is not Roy Khan.
