I had an idea for this For the adaptation: Phillip and Shotaro will be the same person however the person will have multiple personality or identity disorders. Each of his personalities represents the gaia memories that W uses such as Heat making the rider unique. Something like Ex-aid and more on legion. W will also be young kid who is a wannabe detective around the age of 15 or 16 The sonozaki family will instead be a family of politicians working to rule the world by creating a drug world empire. So they used the evil gaia memories as basically drugs like cocaine and sell it to people. The show will be more political and complex with each cases based on real life murders and the dopants having a personality disorders. Each of the cases will affect the main character in a much more deeper aspect. The show will also criticize the political culture, how society views people with mental disorders and many social problems in a more mature way. That's what I got with my idea. Hope you liked it

One idea I had for a US Double was combining Akiko and Shotaro's counterparts into one character. She would've moved to US Fuuto (I like the name Windscale) to find the truth behind her father's death like Akiko, but with Shotaro's love of portraying himself as a hardboiled detective (and failing). They could explain the male body as a way to help conceal her identity (US!Phil:"That way, they'll be looking for a tall, well-built man instead of a mousy, teenage girl.")

Nice adaptation idea as always! Anyway, here's my idea regarding the forms and gimmicks: - Have Raito and Terui to ACTUALLY use W Cyclone Accel Extreme! Like, the original showed its full suit but never actually used it since Terui decided to "fight with compassion, not vengeance" thing, which is logical and unfortunate at the same time. So, in this adaptation idea, I want this form to be W's Extreme variant before going Golden Extreme to take on Eternal. And while doing so, Shotaro could still assist W by being Joker. This might gonna have the crew to record more OG footage but hey, fun ideas are fun to try since they musn't rely on Jap footage too much. Also, have Raito's reasoning for using this form be like "we can still fight with compassion no matter what form we use" and everyone agreed. - Have W use Fang Trigger and Fang Metal, even though they're temporary and had to be quickly turned into Fang Joker due to the strain. Heck, maybe use Fang Skull as the form's high-tier upgrade variant when Shotaro obtained it in some way and kept it as his boss' memento besides his hat. - Have W and Accel purify Nazca and Weather Dopant Memories into special Gaia Memories respectively. If not used as a form, have those Gaia Memories incorporated into new weapons based on their motifs.

Here's my thoughts on how it could work, Even though I have yet to finish W. Rather than Have Raito Vanish, since it would seem strange for him to do so and then some how have Gaia access, He during the start of the series be Comatose, and the Sonozaki Family trying to use the Gaia stream, seen from the beginning, to revive him. And Once he is stable enough, they use the Gaia Impact to revive him. However exposing Phillip to the Full access of Gaia could lead to him being absorbed or as in the video become evil ( the whole realising humanity is the problem or the strong idealogy evolution kinda like KR Baron) , and thus why Skull breaks him out just before the ritual is complete in order to protect Fuuto. Due to the incomplete nature of this ritual, Ratio loses his memories and hence why he needs to access it in a completely stationary manner. With Eternal, instead, was actually the bodyguard responsible for Raito, hence why he looks a little older than Philip and the whole combat knife + body suit. Daido decides to give his body to become a vessel for Philip should the Ritual fail, they would be able to channel the Gaia impact into Daido to pull Philips memories into him instead. And thus he is added into the Gaia stream along with Philip so that they have an early start. However when Skull breaks out Philip, and the ritual incomplete, it becomes very bad for Daido, with the original ritual gone wrong he ends up a mindless drone, and the Sonozakis use this to their advantage later on when they figure out how to control him after exposing him back to the Gaia stream and use him to retrieve Philip from W. The second Gaia Impact now as a complete ritual regains his memory but also Philip's. Now believing himself to be the real Raito, the betrayal of the sonozakis to use him as a puppet and of course the strong evolution ideology Cause Daido to turn the Sonozaki Family to him, since he respected their strength enough ( Ah yes you were capable of using me I respect that you are mine now). And thus the final Battle to return the Sonozakis to normal and in the end Daido regains his memory as he dies. I may do revisions to this after a rewatch of this video

I really love your idea with adapting Eternal. It's perfect. It reminds me of interaction between Phillip and Eternal from A-Z movie, but here, it's completely different level. In the movie there was a thing about Eternal beeing like a brother to Phillip, because they are both "zombies", but that interaction wasn't deep enough. Here, they are technically the kinda same person, almost like a two sides of a single coin, two the point they are kinda brothers. Raito is real, but evil and Phillip is fake, but good..... Ok at this point I realized something is wrong. I am confused about who exactly is Phillip in relation to Raito. Some detail is just missing (or I didn't saw it) and it became confusing. I really don't know what exactly to add here. But I do think that what you were trying to do with Philip and Eternal us really cool

@@thomasjujube Oh, ok. Either way, the interactions between them still will feel special, because Philip is talking to person he thought he is... just love it. I just think that Eternal and Phillip are really interesting and cool match up. To the point, that if there will be an actual Double Adaptation similar to your idea, probably biggest hope for it (I would say "dream" will be more fitting word) is that there will a fight between Kamen Riders Cyclone and Eternal. It would feel so personal,(for Phillip at least) and it might be really impactful moment for character development.(but of course, if it will make enough sence in that adaptation itself). So yeah, I already wrote it(kind of) and I'll write it again, Kamen Rider Eternal as final boss for W is such an awesome idea

Since this video came out, I got around to watching W and watched the Eternal prequel the other night. After watching an old little known British mini-series, The Singing Detective (stars Micheal Gabon/Dumbledore II, with Imelda Staunton/Umbridge as one of the nurses/background). It also uses the Phillip Marlow(e) name for the protagonist, which I guess almost feels like a generic detective name

Cuz I agree about the aesthetics of the Gaia Memories as normal USB Flash Drives that got exposed by Gaia Energy. And the Raito/Philip thing you did is also interesting. Having 2 Philips would be good, and the evil Philip turn into KR Eternal is a good idea. And tbh KR Eternal is badass, and making him the last minute villain would be great idea and a Rider vs Rider final battle would be a great twist in the end. Tho u kinda missed Eternal's Eternal Edge(The Maxmimum Drive Knife) in the toys. But i suppose you have an explanation for that as well. Keep it up man.

I know it would be much added, but I think Accel Trial would be a good addition for the bigger figures and Eternal would be good for both small and big figures. Also, I think the Trial Memory would be a $15 item, as it is an upgrade memory

One thing I think would be interested would be to introduce the American version of Accel not as a Kamen Rider (or "Power Rider", and whatever they call them), but just as a regular police officer who helps Double from te start of the season, and then have him become Accel later. I think it could be cool to have him be kind of "Double's Commissioner Gordon" at first and proving that he can be useful to the team even without any powers, and then later ascend into the role of a Rider.

Just a newsflash bruh. W CycloneJoker suit has degraded so much at its bottom half (pelvic region) that it become almost unusable. If Hasbro or any other studio that is willing to adapt W, they should consider investing their money first on fixing the costumes, because Toei definitely won't do it since they will be focusing their budget on newer stuff.

I'd suggest redesigning Nazca as the family's bodyguard; someone who would've been very close to the family to the point of being just as devoted to bringing back Raito as them; but perhaps with enough of a conscience or sanity to see their efforts as wrong, or at least something the Raito they all knew would never approve of. You could even make that upgraded version of the Nazca Dopant into a brainwashed version of this character. And if for some reason you had to do something different with the Weather Dopant than the insane Doctor/serial killer angle they went with in canon; I'd suggest having him either be an executive of the Sonozaki family's company or a corporate saboteur who steals the prototype Weather memory as a part of a huge power play to steal the company out from under the family or something equally power motivated.

I know this is 3 Years Old. But you are missing the question "Then who is Philip?" I understand the Idea of him actually not Being Raito. But if he is someone else who is he? As a Person he would clearly has a backstory, and he should know his past. So why did he join Shotaro for example? And you dind't say something about Akiko, or Terui. Maybe is because it has some time but I'm not convinced with this Adaptation idea... 🤔🤔 I know is for Fun but You could have focus a little more in the characters too. Idk 😂 But Continuing with your Idea if you really want to play with Philip "Being Raito" in his past you could say he lost his memory in an Accident as a Child and then was adopted or something like that. That could play with everyones Daubts. But in your idea, I think you should put Hints and Play Around with Both, Philip being Raito and maybe Actually not Being him. The twist of Raito coming back to life woth Philip not being him, if you don't do at least a little set up, may feel out of Nowhere. The point of a Twist is having like super hidden details that pointed it out that way and miss it. Spoilers For KRFaiz: The first example that comes to mind is Faiz. We never even question Takumi being able to use the Belt because we are not told that any Human can't use it. It only seems like the kids from the school thing have trouble with it. So then when is revealed that Takumi is also and Orphenoch everything does make sense even when you don't see it coming. It was all there in some way. From the "Twists" in the different KR Shows I've seen so Far Takumi being an Orphenoch is one of the few twists that actually took me by Surprise.

For nazca and utopia I think they can be sponsors to the sounazkaki company in this adaptation, both of them can be brothers or company rival who wanted to gain the attention of saiko (and maybe throw in weather too) Then saiko will get drive deeper into insanity from the stress of these delusional boys aside from the exposure to gaia memory and then the corruption will lead to her using them as a sort of pawn like her original counterpart

@@thomasjujube also I think we can add skull in the flashback sequence serving as the mentor character of shotaro like in the original series (like everytime shotaro lost his way while solving a case, he will be reminded what his mentor thought him) Eventually skull will be temporary brought back as a sounuzaki admin, a brainwashed test subject of bring the dead back to life theme Tho one aspect about w it should keep is not knowing who's the culprit/dopant memory user till the end of the episode, so to keep that detective theme and the audience can make their own theories /guess before the next episode ends with the culprit revealing, kinda like guessing who's the monster in a scooby doo episode

I had theory about why lupinranger vs patranger will never get adapted into power rangers: 1)hasbro dont want make kids became thief like lupinranger 2)it would be wierd to see 2 ranger team fight each other 3)lupinranger vs patranger has many violent scene mostly gunshot

1) While yes Thieves is a bad image but making it appear kinda like a doing for justice like Robin Hood would be much more appealing and would still work. Also considering Media like Persona 5s Phantom thieves, It would still be appealing to other audiences. 2) Team vs Team is not strange to Power Rangers, If you see some of the old Team up episodes that have Team vs Team, it works well as a short story. Thus Lupins Vs Pat's would be like a season wide version of it. Besides, if the DC universe, Kamen Rider and TMNT can crossover with the comics. It's not to far a stretch. 3) Gun imagery did not stop SPD. It didn't stop Dino Charge either. And their whole Morpher is a gun. Lupat having fun morphers would not be new? How would it be overly violent

I think that maybe you could add kamen rider skull in the series as part of shotaro's story so it is not too focused on the sonozaki family and phillip and for merch you could do action figures for the monsters which comes with their gaia memories as well for more collection building if you want only the memories

Interesting. Now that I think of it, I wonder how will Kuuga be adapted? I kinda doubt it given how the Grongi are a tribe of lunatics who think killing is all fun and games. Decade and Zi-O would be the most difficult to adapt given that you need the previous seasons in order to do that. Also, I like the idea that Eternal is the final villain, thus, Cyclone Joker Gold Extreme is the endgame final form. So yeah, I’ll definitely choose the Eternal being the final boss ending.

What is difference between reiwa rider & heisei rider? Despite being first reiwa rider,zero one still feel like kamen rider from heisei phase 2 because: 1)he still use collectible device to henshin 2)he still has many form 3)his belt still has voice

Only being aired in the Reiwa Era of Japan. There isn't Really a diference.

Heisei and Reiwa refer to the eras in Japan based on the current (figurehead) Ruler of Japan. The Heisei Era ended with the Abdication of Emperor Akihito due to declining health. Akihito's Son Naruhito is the current Emperor of Japan. It's not a case of phasing like Kamen Rider Heisei Phase one or two between use of collectables or story style or art direction. It's a literal change of Era within Japan.

All the things you pointed out are not even relevant to Reiwa and Heisei. Black RX has 3 forms, J had two forms if you counted his Jumbo form. Kuuga and Agito's belts do not have any voices installed in them. Kabuto only has 3 forms if you counted his Armored form. Hibiki also only has 3 forms, Ryuuki and Kinight only had 2 forms, 3 if you counted their useless Blank form. X, Stronger and Skyrider all have 2 forms each (or power ups to be exact). 1go and 2go had undergone multiple power up versions. There are Old 1go which is black in color, Shin 1go which has the exact same color as original 2go but with 2 stripes on his undersuit. Both 1go and 2go suits undergone slight alterations in the later phase of Showa series. Shin 1go and Shin 2go suits are as what you can see in All Rider VS Daishocker movies. And again, Shin 1go had undergone massive evolution and turns into that bulky Shin 1go in his last movie featuring Ghost. Your points are kinda mute, if you think about it. What makes the riders is not the Era they are born into, instead their own uniqueness, each of them. Showa, Heisei and Reiwa are just the eras in which they were made and it has nothing to do with their aesthetic. Also, to be fair, Heisei and Reiwa are not that different in anyway since Heisei (read: early millennials) generally was a bridge that connects Showa (read: boomers) to the future (read: zoomers).
