One of the best things about Kamen Rider is the character development. It's not preachy like a lot of modern tv shows on cable. This is a great episode. Hope to see more.

8:48 this scene would have made more sense if ichigo was hypnotized in the original show. With no one to save nigo, he to would be hypnotized as well. How would geldam destron, G.O.D, geddon, the garanga Empire, black Satan, the dezla army, fit in this? They would join with shocker the shame way geldam joined with shocker in the original show, and the other riders would be a cyborg who instead of fighting their respective organizations, they will fight for them. In Kamen rider SD, this organization was called granshocker, and here we will be referring the organization as that.

Several of the organizations you've mentioned were formed AFTER Kamen Rider 1 and Kamen Rider 2, in their combined efforts, took down Shocker, Geldam and Gel-Shocker. And while the Great Leader (the main villain of Showa Era Kamen Rider Series, except for Black and onwards) did claim that he was behind all the others, it's pretty contradictive and unclear as to how much of an influence he had in the formation of such organizations as G.O.D., Geddon, Garanda Empire etc. As other, completely seperate characters from the Great Leader, were revealed to have been the true leaders. There's a lot of contradictions and ret-cons in Showa, analyzing it would make your head hurt.

@Jeffery Tang It's mostly because the first half the series doesn't really focus on Hibiki himself, and tends to be far more artsy in terms of its presentation and storytelling. Then for the second half, Toei got a new show-runner made it more like a normal Kamen Rider season. Basically you have fans that prefer the first half and fans that prefer the second half, so almost no one is completely satisfied.

Kamen Rider didn't even bother to free them. Its also weird how much better Skyrider's writing seems to be than its predecessors and how its actually holding up fairly well today, including the suit not looking goofy

Because he actually at the begining doesn't have a real name just kamen rider. And some fans suggest to called him as skyrider while other fans suggest to called him kamen rider the new one because it's look like a remake of kamen rider. Until at the episode he meet other kamen riders, toei or in the story the senpai riders give him a name skyrider from fans suggestion. And after that he got new form also the title opening changed become kamen rider skyrider instead of just kamen rider. That's why at episode 1 and 2 the title opening are just kamen rider
