This is so Nostalgic. The KL Sentral was under construction and the station looks so old design (on that time) despite currently new constructed.

The reason why the stations look so old design perhaps because of two reasons: 1. They want it to be designed that way, or 2. Cost-cutting I've seen early opened stations of BTS Skytrain in Bangkok on KZbin, and you know what, they are more modern (and probably bigger?) than these one. Even though both of them are roughly the same age..

bila tengok budak2 balik sekolah tu teringat zaman kanak2. 1998-1999 saya umur 7-8 tahun. wangsa maju station pun belum rasmi lagi. tak silap rasmi tahun 2000 atau 2003 macam tu. rindu vibes dulu-dulu sebab tak ramai orang lagi. berbeza dengan sekarang. sangat-sangat sesak.

Thank you so much kamepo-san for this upload, PUTRA LRT (and STAR LRT) back then was the maiden rapid transit rail lines of Kuala Lumpur, I was only a teenager 20 years back & it was really surreal to see the KL Sentral building being constructed. Now the KL Sentral station has a connection to the MRT SBK Line; one of the MRT stations is just right next to the National Museum.

Most of the current malaysia public transport now have been upgraded and all the unfinised construction recorded in your footage are already completed. Malaysia has grown soooo much. and to think that driverless, back then people scare about driverless. cannot believe its still running till these. There are however case when blackout strike, these LRT stand-still and people had to walk those elevated rail.

@@wonderfulfable the next extension only for 5 KM but source from MRT Jakarta Wikipidia current situation is "Phase 2 was initially planned to extend Bundaran HI to Kampung Bandan in North Jakarta. However, land acquisition issues hindered the process, prompting the administration to find an alternative location, which will also be designed to house the trains depot." meanwhile the next KL MRT 2 is ready first quarter next year with more 50KM legth from Sg Buloh to Putrajaya.
