This had me in tears. The message is strong and I hope when I become old enough to drive this won't happen to my kids. However that is a while away as I'm only 11. This play had me in tears

It's a cute story, and the acting is great! And the ending was awesome too. Here are some suggestions though: Plotholes: - I'm not sure what kind of math you would be doing in cancer research? Especially that wouldn't be done with a calculator - If breast cancer runs in the family, she would be required to get checked at her yearly checkups. Breast cancer is easy enough to treat and won't cause death if noticed early enough - because the breasts can be removed before the cancerous cells travel throughout the body. Development things: - Could have been nice to see more depth to the relationship struggles, and how they came out of it. Make the relationship as sweet and wholesome and relatable and special as possible, so we really feel the loss when the narrator reveals the truth at the end. - Make Henry more of a character. He seems like a needy boyfriend at times and could be more whole - I'm not sure if you need the whole cure for cancer thing anyway? It makes the message sound a little bit like, "because you were drunk driving, we lost the cure for cancer" when really it should be about how Violet's life was stripped from her - I felt a little twisted at the end ~ like all the other themes in the play (Scarlet competition, mom + breast cancer, etc.) didn't matter anymore because none of that stuff actually happened. Play with what you could do with that, I would say. - What happened to the drunk guy? Not that you need to answer that, but you could, if you wanted Great play!! Thanks for posting it and congrats on having it performed.

I agree with some of what you are saying but not all, but the truth is that you can never know what a life are worth if its gonna end before its even got to take flight. And dont drink and drive is a good rule to follow because you dont know of how many ppl besides the stupid you it can affect.

This is such a bad script. the actors are not at all in character.
