​@@iwatchtvwithportal5367 That has negative implications to the entertainment. If they give you a lot of space, soon you will have every combination and you'll never need to loot again. With limited space you have to make rotations and constantly loot something that maybe you discarded before. Games have this kind of limitations everywhere, is what makes them entertaining. Give players what they "want", and they will kill all the fun in the game: they'll become Superman, get bored and leave because there's no challenge or anything to do anymore. That's what just happened with seasonal characters. It was a good idea, but players don't know what they want and they complain. They rather get bored playing without any goal or progress (with their maxed out main character). High levels have nothing to play for. Seasonal characters would've fix that.

Your hope is a little too strong. It said they would evaluate it but they did not say they were completely removing it. Ubisoft is well known for taking two steps across the line and only taking one step back and it makes people perceive them as the good guys. I want a second stash. One for armore one for guns. I think that will help organize my stash way better, also I think that should have a fast stash option when you pick stuff up on open map. So you can keep your packs from getting over loaded with trash.

​@@dylanmelotti4301 In any game with seasons, there will always be some players who are able to complete or buyout the whole season using real money shortly after the season start, however, those are a minority of players. What truly keeps a game alive is the introduction of new content. The seasonal character mode does not qualify as new content, as it simply requires players to replay existing content with a new character and start with default weapons. Adding modifiers does not equate to new content as it is as same as the currect directives. New content should be defined as new missions, raids, countdowns, incursions, or even new global events. Everything announced in Season 2.0 can be done without any seasonal characters, since technically there is no new contents in season 2.0, except the new manhunt that comes with the story comms and a short cutscent after the final manhunt mission.

Hell, YES!!! Thank you, Kami, for getting this news out to us/ the Div 2 community ASAP! As always your time and efforts to make sure the community is in the know, is ever so greatly appreciated. I was leaving Div 2 if they had progressed to seasonal character. This is great news. However, they will still have to work on this game to it's utmost playable perfection. I know nothing is perfect in life and it is only a game. It's some ppls bread and butter. Devs still have a lot of work to do to fix all that is wrong with the game. I hope they take this opportunity to rework and re-evaluate Div 2 for the sake of Div 3 and make Div 3 the better version Div 2, that Div 2 was supposed to be. It's worth pursuing for veterans and new comers alike. I'm pleased with this breaking news tho. I think, I'm looking forward to ongoing, upcoming new seasons. As a veteran gamer of the Div 2 game, I'll reconsider my decision now to not leave Div 2. Maybe we can all breath a bit easier now.

Kami, we were NOT gaining stash space, yes, the seasonal character was going to have their own stash, but it wouldnt of made our regular stash space grow.. Imagine this, you have a full stash on the seasonal character, season ends, now all that gear you had in your stash and on your char ends up in your stash mail box, now you have to pick and choose what you keep.. Thats basically what was going to happen, just like what they do in Diablo.. That being said, OMFG I am so happy to see this! Seasons 2.0 was going to drive off a lot of players who have put tons of hours into the game, as well, it would of been a clan killer.. I as a clan leader was very unhappy about this, I would of had players who want to do season, and players who did not. Those that want to do season would of wanted to run with people doing seasons so they might of left specifically to join a "seasonal" clan (yes, there was already some rumblings about this). At the end of the day, this big of a change should of been talked to the community first, this is NOT a Apple product where we dont know what we want and so its easy for them to just change it and make it so.. thank god this is being rolled back.. If the devs cant figure out how to do the game with what THEY put in and gave us access to, maybe they need to reevaluate who is a Dev, and when they need to get Div 3 out!!

You can create new character for seasons, put all directives and play it in heroic with new looted gear only. If you want don’t max out the watch and if you want more challenge do it with an hardcore character on top of all that. I think that you will get close to seasonal character except the so called modifiers.

ive said it since seasonal characters were announced....all they have to do is account mainly for the 10% extra armor we have from the watch and about 36% extra damage we have from expertise and the watch combined....just make enemies roughly 36% tankier and make them hit 10% harder on challenge difficulty....they can even adjust it down from there by 1/4 per difficulty level....so hard mode enemies would hit 7.5% harder and be 27% tankier....they say were too strong but they wont implement a very easy fix for that

This is due to mass player fall off, went in to check the state of the game last week and some very huge discord communities weren't even running stuff. My boy did 1 mission on a Saturday and jumped to top spot in our clan rank for the week lol. glad they listened to all the negative feedback on seasonal characters but, shouldn't have taken the mass posts and people dropping out, just to get here (as someone mentioned below they should have polled their community).

Don't know if this wil tickle my feathers, what they need to consider and do is bringing the survival and underground into division 2. lot of players would want that, and make for god sake a playable DZ like the one in div1, one big DZ with alot of stuff to do in it now they have wasted some amount of time, and just toss it over the fence. the 9gb update they still have not fixed everything, if you are having a connection with ubsisoft just dropp that bomb and let them think about it.

Where I was totally out before, I'm now willing to stick around and play through this season and see what they actually cook up with seasons 2.0 and maybe hang in there until the story DLC drops. That said, this development team still doesn't really inspire confidence. It's up to them to make something work. I could ultimately decide that I'm done with the game if I'm not liking what I hear. Listening to the community is a good step, regardless.

It still would have been more of the same, though. No new areas, no new activities, just the same places doing the same things, killing the same NPCs. The only deference would be having a powerless agent. Just a crappy pair of shoes to run on the same treadmill. What would have been the point? Anyone can create and delete a new agent at any time if they want to, so why make it mandatory?

@@buddzilla187 I'm fine with challenge, but the game is just too stale for them to just roll the Sisyphean boulder back down the hill and call it "new". Descent was interesting until they changed the ability pools and removed a lot of the power you could build, and they didn't expand on more rooms with differing environments to fight in ( it's a simulation after all; the options were limitless). It seems like they are out to ruin the fun whenever it presents itself, or just leave things unfinished and waste their potential. I can't even bring myself to play the game anymore. I pull up the map and sigh and log out of the game. I can't seem to uninstall it for some reason, though.
