Yeah the only thing they've shown him train his quirk on is the raw output. It would've much more beneficial to have him try to work on his accuracy or other applications of his quirk.

Right? I've never understood why next to no one suggests him using small bursts of electricity, or why the thought seem so alien for him, too. Like, why can't he act as a taser? He knows he's all or nothing - why not change that, and limit how much he uses at once so he can still act later? Pacing is the best application of his quirk, and the fact that that isn't addressed early on for his growth is egregious.

@@hoshiryu and the sugar rush quirk is scary accurate there is no way in hell he has that much of a cognitive disfunction as a draw back seriously on most quirks the excuse of cognitive disfunction doesn’t make sense unless it makes them go beserk or they’d be at full potential quite honestly kaminari could even be a contingency in case if they need ai powered samurai bots only thing is they must have a self destruct sequence just in case of mind control or he could even have his own power suit making his quirk safer to disperse he would simply need to work out a bit for his body to handle the suit.

Mostly todoroki, bakugou, and deku are said to be prominent, but as the manga progresses we can see how most of the characters actually progressed over that time. In the manga, the great battle has already begun, and there are even episodes where Jirou fights to the end for his friends. Apart from Jirou, we see that most of the characters fight until the end even though they suffer a lot. I just wanted to give jirou as an example. SPOILER ALERT Jirou didn't give up even though 1 ear jack broke while fighting for his friends. Not to mention Mirko losing her legs and arms.

Actually the entire purpose of the character is to showcase how ridiculous Electricity would be as a superpower. If you haven't noticed, Kaminari's electricity actually obeys the laws of physics, right down to how random electricity moves without adequate conduction. So no actually, his character is one of the best showcases of how much thought Hori puts into the series and what makes MHA a masterpiece
